Agreed. No-way Hammond can get a "9", what did he do deserve that? Put himself about a bit, but not much more. Poor night. Poor crowd. Utterly s**t songs from the Northam. Yes we had a couple of decent spells and sounds like the reeves goal should have been allowed (couldn't tell from where I was sitting), but something still isn't quite right. That was a strong Saints side out there against a hard working, but pretty unexceptional Wall side. Losing like that to them was not good. We REALLY need a win Saturday now, our season seriously needs another kick start.
-
Rubbish. Every Saints fan I know would rather win the FA Cup than get promotion.
-
I've got my ticket for tonight already, but was reading a Millwall forum earlier with them moaning no tickets sold on the day, hence thought it worth the question.
-
Can you buy on the nght? Heard no on the day sales?
-
Fair f****g play to you lad. You doing all three home games or do you mean you had to buy for all three to guarantee Skates tickets?
-
Who the f**k are you? Bore off you utterly boring bellend.
-
Beat Millwall tonight, then have a replay against Bolton, beat them and end up having a midweek replay against M'Boro or Sunderland in the 1/4s ha.

You don't have a clue. Don't ever reply to one of my posts again.

Who's bashing Adkins you know nothing cretin?
-
that's not his point. It's an odd one that Butterfield hardly gets a look in, with Harding being preferred to himas a 2nd choice right back. I've heard from the horses mouth that Butterfield isn't a fan of Adkins, can now see why.

India tells Britain: We don't want your aid
Sour Mash replied to OVER THE HILL's topic in The Lounge
I guess there is the argument that by us giving aid, we could almost embarrass the wealthier Indians into doing something? The problem is the sheer scale of the problem in that country - how much difference would the money we give really make, even if given directly? Something I've always wondered and hopefully someone more clued up on India than me could answer. Throughout history, most countries with such large disparities between rich and poor, with so many millions of urban poor living close together, either rise and up and revolt against their ruling elite, turn to extereme politics (either left or right wing) or there is a high level of violent crime, robberies etc (see Jo'Burg or Rio). But that just doesn't seem to even be close to happening in India. I know there are incidents of social unrest (I remember riots in Navi Mumbai when I was over there), but really nothing significant in the grand scheme of things. Is it because of the caste system, that everyone has the belief that if you're born into a lower caste, its as a result of a previous life, but if you get your head down and work hard, behave etc, you might get it better in your next life? -
Same, but with only the one night in Blackpool, defintiely a pricey month of football.
-
Always knew this was going to be a pricey trip. Already had to book another return train ticket after it got moved for tv, which will now involve a night out in Sheffield. Up in Leeds from 10.30 in the morning. Got a feeling this is going to be one of those away games. Yorkshire W*nkers!

India tells Britain: We don't want your aid
Sour Mash replied to OVER THE HILL's topic in The Lounge
We don't give ourselves enough credit in this country for our charitable, philanthropic approach to the world. I think we are one of, if not, the highest, charity donators per head in the world. Throughout history we have lead the world in the provision of housing, sanitation, education to those less fortunate. India, for a number of reasons, does not have that same approach. The UK giving aid to India is ridiculous and should be stopped as soon as possible. -

Where would this forum be without you Andy? -
thought they'd ahve sold out by end of today. Did the ticket office say how many sold so far? At least it means anyone that wants a ticket can get one for this.
-
Utter c**ts.
-
He's right though. Forget the stats, what actual, proper shots did we have on target?
-
Why? It's a stupid rule, absolutely pointless, same as the "Cup-tied" rule.

Was just about to post a fair few others have above. Chaplow was on a decent little run for us before he got injured, but his impact and ability is being massively over played on here. How many games has he actually even played this year?
-
An utterly s**t song that we should never sing and those stood around my lot were told in no uncertain terms. Who the f**k wants to be last onto a bandwagon started by Crystal Palace supporters?
-
Game should never have gone ahead due to the weather, but thats playing on sky for you. Thought Brum looked there for the taking. We still don't test opposition keepers enough. How many shots did we have on goal? Why the f**k didn't we shoot with that freekick right at the end, surely you have to make sure the keeper is tested then, particularly in those conditions. All told, not a bad point to earn on the road. Got home at 2am

Can you put a list up of any pubs that are showing the rugby instead of our game, just so I know never to use them again?
