What an absolutley boring, busy, biased c**t. Think he should be told so as well.
-
You wouldn't say they were better than us when it was 11 v 11? I agree that poor isn't the right word. When do we 'have our shooting boots on'?
-
Who rates a game by its stats? I wouldn't call us poor, but there's plenty of truth in that report.
-
Thought they were the better team at 11 v 11 and contrary to the hoofball rubbish, knocked it around better than us. First half we struggled to get hold of the ball until the last 10/15 mins definitely not a night to remember for Sharp, especially missing that chance. 2nd half we absolutely dominated possession, but we really need to work out how to make it count. How many shots did we have on goal? Best thing tonight was the support, good old school, boozed up, midweek London away following, love nights like that.

Well done getting the thread started

Cash turnstiles in the home end if anyone gets desperate.

No, not really risking their financial future. They're f****d if they stay down for more than one year, so makes sense to speculate to get back up. Considering we've been in admin and they haven't its a bit rich us lecturing them on financial matters. They're not a massive club, but they're bigger than us and its not hard to see why they'd expect to go straight back up.

Fair play, good price that.
-
Even more so when you consider their previous -10 didn't really punish them in terms of final league position.
-
10 point deduction is f**k all considering how many points they've earnt from players they can't afford to pay, makes a mockery of the sytem. Hopefully this is the only tip of the iceberg.

What's "footy"?

This thread keeps getting better.

Just looked through his latest posts, you've got a fan there.

Exactly. Can't see that being £20, clsoer to double it really. Would make more sense to just get a cab to West Ham and then Jubilee line from there.
-
How will that work if you're still wearing your Saints Jester hat and facepaint?
-
Jesus wept. I never said anyone would pay £5million for him. My point is that none of us actually know the detail behind any agreement or how the release clause was structured, contracts can have no end of sub clauses and are rarely straight forward. In all likelihood it would have been £1.85m, but we'll never know for certain.
-
Just to confirm, you can't stand it because your girlfriend is Sri Lankan? Not because it's actually wrong?
-
That's a good price, as its a fair old trek, but I'd recommend actually calling a few local mini-cab firms and booking one in advance, as I don't trust those websites and that sounds a bit too cheap to me. Might not even be all that much quicker than the tube thinking about it.

Top post!

But none of us know how the release clause is structured, so we're only speculating. Why would a club agree to a clause in a contract that meant they had to accept a bid of £1.85m if they knew a club would be prepared to pay £5m. All we actually know is the release clause was at £1.85m. If it was as clear cut as that, I'd expect us to have announced it was that figure.
-
I think you're the one being a cretin.
-
Why? It's just the release clause? All that tells us is that is the minimum we could have paid. Might have been that, might have been a fair bit more, especially if Leicester were competing for his signing. We'll probably never know though.

Hand himself in? What for? This forum never fails to amuse.

Why report it? He didn't abuse anyone.

Really easy to get to, 20 mins from the centre of London using th Picaddilly line. What you going for? Its a dump? Where's Earls Cross? Between Earls Court and Kings Cross?
