I suggested it at the times and it was just a guess, that the club did a bit of working out and reckoned on making more money having close to full grounds each week of those paying full whack per game, rather than have the guaranteed, but possibly lower overall, income of a ground of season ticket holders. Without seeing all the figures we'll never know, but I bet we projected for higher home crowds on the basis of the team doing well. Also not had any big home cup games this year to boost the coffers.
