Just like we did with Fuller, Delap and Telfer. All of who moved elsewhere to great effect - and not being boo'ed ! One persons poison is another persons meat !
-
Our biggest achilles heel for some years never mind this season is our defence! Pards and NC are sorting this out superbly well this week. Maybe we can start to keep more clean sheets now than we have done. Very happy !

Added to that, the HMRC have done their homework on Mandaric and it might be fair to assume that because of this they have an excellent insight into Pompey's financial affairs too. Coming to think of it, I wonder whether the Mandaric case and the winding up order are linked. It might perhaps explain why Poopey are disputing how much they owe HMRC.

But would you buy a 3 legged donkey with the constitution of a blancmange ??? Think we are stuck with him unfortunately !
-
Also, when he was spinning his story last night he did all but admit that no new money had been put into the club since the owner came in - Just loans and they of course, need repaying
-
Agree with all except Patterson. I think the lad has potential and would benefit from a loan period away, but think he can still develop into a decent player for the Saints.

This is absolutely cringeworthy especially the bit highlighted above! Be allowed to compete on a level playing field ??? It was when they decided to drastically overspend so they did not play on a level playing field with other Prem clubs that started all this mess
-
Hardball ? Not being bullied?!!! If they hav'nt sold him by this time on the 30th January they would take £14 I'm sure.

In signing Fonte, a very marked statement of intent has been indicated by ML and NC. It is seldom for a Div 1 club to invest big money (relative to position) on a higher division player and one can safely assume that Fonte has bought the vision of where the club wants to go to drop a division. Cracking piece of business all round.

Maybe he is waiting to see whether he is paid or not.. If he is not, then as the article states he can tear up his contract and might be able to negotiate better personal terms with us. We would also save on a transfer fee.
-
He would probably be travel sick on the way over !
-
Ridsdale's acumen for running a football club would fit very nicely into the Poopey boardroom don't you think
-
Great - he still wants his pound of flesh !
-
I think the Skates actually bought Boateng and not loaned him from Spuds
-
Very true, but that makes him unsellable right now! Only the very richest clubs will buy a player now for £4 million or so, only to loan him back for the rest of the current season. But as he is not good enough for the so called "top 4 clubs" - Pimply will be stuck with him and his wages for the rest of the season.
-
I'm sure we can loan them Pulis
-
Would it not be kinder just to shoot him !
-
LOLLOLLOL... This guy makes HelpMe Rhonda come across as completely sound of mind !
-
I'm pleased too! Has potential and given the right coaching could well be a big asset to us.
-
Four gone to ACN. Dindane, Kanu, Utaka and Belhadj. Lose O'Hara too and its 3 starters and 2 subs gone - O'Hara and Bejhadj ( along with Boateng) being their best players too! Lens wanting to recall Dindane as Pimpley cannot fulfill their promise to buy him and Blackburn wanting to take the loanee Picquionne onto their books. Its a cack situation for them..

Will the Blue Few Fans pass the PL's FAPP test ? Do we have those "Lets Go Wilde" T-Shirts we can pass on to them ?

I love you yes, I love you yes, I love my coo !

For me, the greatest commentator by a country mile - Ever, is the great Bill MacLaren! Never has the enthusiasm and objectivity of any one commentator enhanced the enjoyment of watching a sporting event so much.

I do so love that ! Even more funnier than the Rupert version
