  1. Absolutely not in my opinion.
  2. Not concerned at all to be fair. We are in the fantastic position of not needing to sell, and I'm sure the clubs ambition certainly meets Lambo and Deano's aspirations too. Other can look all they like but unless its silly money ( which in todays climate it will not be), they would be wasting their time.
  3. Good shout that !

    Kelvin fit!

I would'nt bet on that! Nevertheless Bart has come in and performed well enough to confirm AP's trust and keep his place!
  5. I was not too surprised by the result and in fairness I regard Leeds as the only team whose squad has more quality than us in this division. Leeds came into this game off indifferent form, but regarded us as stern competition and raised their game accordingly in front of their home fans. It was a must win for them - A defeat might have sent all sorts of doubt into them! We are still very much in the play-off mix and with almost half the season gone and the squad now having got used to each other and the system that we will still not be far away.
  6. Says it all about the quality and sincerity of our leadership team ! I was always wholly against administration, but despite the nuisance of -10 points it has brought us these excellent people together with a workable and exciting future strategy - And returned pride to this great club of ours. Beyond my wildest hopes from where we were a year ago. Thanksyou Markus and Nicola and Happy Christmas to you and yours too !
  7. Thought it was syphilis !
  8. Connolly V Oldham for me ! A class finish from a Prem quality striker !
  9. Hate Liverpool ( Boris Johnson was right - They just love to suffer loudly) ! Manure ( Ferguson and all the pussy footing around him by the establishment) Spuds ( For any number of reasons but most of all BlueKnapp)! Everton ( 1984 Semi-Final) Poopey for obvious reasons.. Have an affection for Borussia Dortmund and Schalke 04 - Had the pleasure of once attending a Ruhr Derby match - 80,000+ passionate fans singing and chanting at a decibel level I have never heard bettered anywhere, and a raucous atmosphere that has to be seen. and a highly entertaining 3-3 draw to boot while drinking beer in your seat !
  10. Where's Josh Dutton-Black plying his trade nowadays ?
  11. That is so but shop around! At the moment with banks/building Societies, there does seem a culture of creaming as much in as they can for obvious reasons.
  12. Totally agree: Totally different to the lacklustre weasel words of Burley for instance - Pards is positive, focussed and seemingly a great motivator! Great Stuff !
  13. In my experience, that is certainly the case. A good little local company will give you a better deal and indeed service! HIP was a bloody rip off but otherwise as others have said, there is so little property to sell (but a rising number of people who want to buy) that you should experience no difficulty.
  14. Reading this, his past even makes Barry The Briefcase look like Mary Poppins ! How ludicrous it is that this man can even get near a job with a PL club without somebody at the PL pressing the alarm bell! Desperate all round!
  15. A fantastic servant to the club and a top, top player too ! I think I would dare say that the regard towards him from all corners of the club is universally high! Good luck Killer !
  16. Indeed ! He scored some great goals for us, but that one of his was my particular favourite!
  17. Did our Dan Harding play for Leeds in that game ? I do remember the impact Healy had when he came off the bench - He worried the life out of our defence and in the end we cracked!
  18. The 6-3 home win against Manure takes some beating especially as all the goals scored by us (Le Tiss, Berkovic and Ostenstad) were absolute corkers ! Just loved looking towards the dugout at the Glasgow Groaner's face which was redder and more incandescent with rage than usual - Was it after that game that he grizzled about the grey shirts ? The televised 4-0 rout of Spurs in the FA Cup 3rd round was memorable for many reasons. We absolutely outclassed them in front of the TV cameras and how we laughed as a forlorn Glenda watched from the sidelines not knowing what to do or where to hide! Somehow I think we are not that many years away from being able to enjoy similar moments again !
  19. I'm sure Pards will pick the team on form and merit ! The great thing as you have mentioned is that we have two good keepers, and we do not have to rush Kelvin back to fitness either!
  20. Agreed ! With perhaps the exception of Leeds, we already possess the strongest squad in this division and that is being put together with promotion in mind. Also agree that squad additions are likely and I suspect one will be a centre forward as cover for Lambo !
  21. Only a poor workman blames his tools ! And the tool inthis case was Holt ! How refreshing it was to see some style defeat a bunch of cynical bruisers !
  22. Agree your rationale here, but the most important thing for us is to consolidate in the league first. I think you are right in saying that it would be too much of an ask to force our way into the play-off fixtures but to place ourselves just outside of them and allow AP to make early plans for a push next season is paramount I would suggest. In saying that, a cup final appearance at Wembley would always be welcome regardless of whatever trophy we are competing for. I loved the Simod(?) cup final !
  23. One small amendment perhaps
  24. Maybe the slurring "blurred" his words somewhat !
