  1. I agree. Relegation would be disastrous for the club. Could easily see us in the Championship or League One for a good half a decade or more if we do bite the dust this time around.
  2. He'll need a hell of a lot of divine intervention if he's to keep us up. Good luck, Mr Jones.
  3. Shine on you crazy diamond. In the second link.
  4. The board are essentially excusing themselves for the shite they've reigned over (Semmens in particular) with the pessimistic statements they make. They continue to claim that we're a small club, that we're lucky to be in the Premier League, that we will do well not to lose half of our games, that league positions don't matter, that we're a selling club. This not only gives them a get-out-of-jail free card for ineptitude, but also sets a precedent and atmosphere that pervades the entire club. It needs to be sorted out as soon as possible.
  5. I know, it is gold dust really for a club of our diminutive size. We've really done exceptionally to pick up so many points at this stage in the season. There's no precedent for it at our club. Truly incredible - what a job Ralph has done. We should all be grateful and thankful.
  6. The club is bereft of positivity or belief. The players inspire no confidence in their ability, creativity or determination. Becoming numb to it all, sadly.
  7. We tend to pick up unexpected results against big clubs, which are then followed by complacent and dire losses to teams in and around us. So frustrating.
  8. A striker that can finish more than one every 15 shots... if only. Still, we were dire today. Again, matching the long term trend of our performances. Any positives seem to be an anomaly.
  9. 3-1 to Palace I reckon. Penalty to Palace will be given for a foul by Lyanco on Zaha. We'll play OK but will be done down the flanks too easily.
  10. Glad he left, then.
  11. Maitland-Niles is beyond woeful. May as well have a fucking ghost in centre mid.
  12. God, we are so toothless.
  13. Now, I haven't seen us score a goal live in a long while. Every time I miss a goal and tune in, we lose/ drop points. I wonder if I'm the curse? Shall I watch the second half? I think I will. Watch this space.
  14. Decisive action needs taking, soon. Picking up points at the moment is down to luck and chance, rather than any managerial intervention, tactics or inspiration. If we somehow fluke points against Bournemouth, it doesn't justify Ralph staying at the helm. He's already left us rudderless and without any sense of direction or purpose. There's just no sense of belief at the club anymore.
  15. Got to be a load of bollocks, surely.
  16. I must say I'm very much in two minds about relegation. It almost feels like we need a reset and a chance to actually win some games would be nice - plus there would be more fixtures so even more chances! Conversely, it would be a financial shit-show and it may well be very hard to get back up. Either way it is seeming more and more likely with every game, as we come to the horrible realisation that we are, indeed, dog-shit. This isn't a blip, or a bad run - it's our (not really that 'new') normal.
  17. Picking his nose, probably.
  18. Easy 2-0. For West Ham.
  19. Couldn't have said it better myself. Myopic, inert, unambitious and wholly pessimistic leadership.
  20. Neither performances or results. It's not really up for debate any more, and it needs to happen sharpish.
  21. Quite stark. Does he have the wherewithal to change things?
  22. Completely agree. Some of the stuff I used to read on here about him when he played for us... 😱
  23. Stiff upper lips work excellently when it comes to dealing with mental health issues, famously.
  24. Brilliant, so time passing means you forget wrongs? Cecil Rhodes must be all good in your book.
