We'll definitely find out about how the segregation for cup games will work at least
-
There was a video doing the rounds at Sheffield Wednesday of a group of boys kicking off so wouldn't surprise me.

Champions League games will be in the midweek afterwards, so it won't be the worst thing in the world to draw one of those teams, as they'd be very likely to rest players - rather than getting one of them in the semis/final where they name their strongest team. Although Man City and Chelsea have quite tough draws so they may get knocked out, in which case we'd be fucked.

Wrexham v Hull on Tuesday as well, so if we do win, we'll definitely make up ground on at least one of the teams above us. I think Hull will drop out, there's always one team who has a late collapse.
-
The issue is the Friday is just after the international break, if we draw a Prem team they'll absolutely certainly be against having a game that early due to the amount of players that would be away. If we get Port Vale they may play it on the Friday, depends on the broadcasters. So I think both games will get moved. The Wrexham game will probably just move to the Tuesday or Wednesday afterwards instead of Monday, and then Ipswich at home the following midweek. That would leave us with one more free midweek if we somehow do make it to the semi finals where the Blackburn home game would move. Once the draw is made tomorrow, the full schedule is usually announced by the end of the week, Thursday or Friday. Once that is known the EFL will announce the confirmed rearrangement dates, hopefully ASAP but could be Monday next week. I'm guessing, they might announce it earlier.

I believe the away bar in that section blocks the divider towards the Chapel, so it would have to extend towards the Kingsland. Unless they do what Derby do at Pride Park, and separate the away end concourse into two different halves.

Yeah you have to sign up to the sports package which is £30 a month!! If your phone is with EE, or know someone who is with EE, you can get a discounted price of £20 a month. That's the cheapest (legal) way to sign up.

Previously they did give a free voucher to every fan, I think they did it for a Fulham game a couple of years ago around Christmas. Presumably the Middlesbrough free pie was the FAB idea and naturally they restricted it to just travel users. Looking after their own. I've been to pretty much every away game; don't expect or want a reward but only giving a reward to a certain section because of how they travel is not on at all. I don't live in Southampton so I wouldn't be able to get the official coach anyway! I note in those minutes that there was a discussion about the Portsmouth game but no feedback shared about the fact a bubble was in place at all! So what's the point of raising anything with them.

Maybe Fulham told us we had to buy the whole block of tickets in advance and we declined.

Yeah it's annoying that it's on the same weekend as Easter. The issue is that the previous weekend is the international break which would be the usual slot for the Quarter finals, last week of March. They could've done in the weekend of the 21st maybe but that's only two weeks after the fifth round. And next year the international break falls at the same time as Easter so no Easter games at all for Championship teams

What’s your unpopular opinion on Saints?

Hard to assess, lots of players under Will Still didn't look particularly good -

If we had stuck with Ivan Juric for this season, we'd be runaway leaders. -

The Championship is shit and I'd rather we were a stable Premier League team again, even if we don't win as many games. -
Not a great performance but we got the job done, even if it we made it harder for ourselves. Atmosphere wasn't great, maybe it was down to the fact that it was taking 45 minutes plus to get a pint in the away end!!

This won't be a 5-0 thrashing. They'll sit deep and we always struggle to break teams like that down. We should win but it won't be simple. 2-0

It wouldn't surprise me if Hull dropped out, there's always a team in the top 4 or 5 that have a shocking end of the season.

Disappointing outcome but only one team was trying to win that. We did the same to teams last season as Charlton did and fluked our way to results (think Man City at home) - it happens. We played well, move on and win on Tuesday. -
Blackburn last minute winner!!

Looks like there are about 1500 tickets available so should be near 30k crowd. Charlton haven't sold the full 3000 though. -

https://intothevalley.proboards.com/thread/28985/jones-out Hopefully we can put the final nail in his management coffin. -
Engineering works in Winchester that weekend as well for anyone getting the train up. I reckon we should still easily take 4000 plus.

We did pretty well against Liverpool earlier in the season, any they only just scraped past Stoke in the last round. They should win but we have a chance.

Because it's the Champions League the midweek after and the fixtures won't be known until a couple of weeks time, it's quite likely that all the games involving those teams will be on the Saturday. It depends how flexible UEFA are willing to be. Which often they're not. Not sure if they will schedule any games for the Monday (possibly West Ham v Brentford) but it might be 1 on Friday, and then 3 or 4 each on Saturday/Sunday I think every game will be on TV so it's more likely it'll be on the Sunday than Saturday, simply because more games need to be on a Saturday and ours can be on the Sunday. If cannot be Monday as we play on Wednesday. It also depends if TNT want each game in a unique slot or not. We'll find out by the end of the week anyway but I reckon it'll be the Sunday.

The worst possible draw would be Port Vale/Bristol City. They play on the Tuesday before the 5th round weekend so good luck to any club having to sort out away tickets in a couple of days

Have to be wary about them. They beat Ipswich 3-0 away, and there's absolutely no way they will be as open as they were in November. We should win but they seemed to have turned things around after a dodgy spell, much like we have.
