It'll be interesting to see who Burnley go for, I imagine we'll be fishing in a very similar pool
-
Are we the most hapless club of the past 30 years?
Pamplemousse replied to Sunglasses Ron's topic in The Saints
I'd say Leicester and Portsmouth have had it worse in recent years. We've not quite sunk (yet) to their lows and in all honesty I don't think we will next season. -
When we sack Tonda then the path to redemption begins, the footballing world will quickly move on, especially with a new manager and a load of new signings.
-
If Spors stays, and apparently he isn't implicated, then someone from Germany would be my guess.
-
I've never claimed to be ITK, I didn't have a clue what was going on. Obviously we're all having a bit too much fun and a laugh on here for your tastes so crawl back into your hole.
-
Given their track record that's bad news for us. I hope the Boro fans are shitting themselves in any case.
-
A bit like this season how we seemed to kick into gear after a team opened the scoring...
-
Whatever the outcome and I'm not expecting good news, we've had a good laugh over the past few days, this has cheered me up after a depressing few hours trying to ignore texts from the entire world
-
I'm going for an announcement at 7.20pm, just to rub salt into the wounds
-
I see Hull are threatening legal action too but over the decision to reinstate Boro lol. I'd like to see Gibbo try to take on these Turkish owners of theirs
-
He's right, it is unprecedented and disproportionate. Whether or not anything will happen though, I'm not optimistic.
-
Flynn Downes would be sent off immediately
-
Can someone lobby Rishi and his wife to make Dragan an offer he can't refuse? Any other wealthy Southampton fans we know of?
-
Tonda has to be sacked. He can be the fall guy and I think the footballing world will move on fairly quickly.
-
That's why we need a clean slate. A new manager goes some way to showing to the outside world i.e. sponsors, players etc. that we are looking to ensure this never happens again. Tonda is tainted unfortunately, unlikely he'll ever work in England again
-
We'd all be rich if we could
-
He has to be sacked, we need a completely fresh start to rebuild our reputation, and we would never get that if he remains in charge.
-
We might not have a choice of keeping him if the FA take action
-
Parker has won promotion with three different clubs. Very very impressive
-
If our appeal is dismissed, I'd be embarrassed if we tried to take it further. The more I'm stewing this over, the more anger I feel towards our owners. We have to get them out ASAP.
-
I've never wanted Hull to win a game of football so much.
-
Well if Phil is confident, then I am less confident.
-
Scott Parker the obvious choice given his promotion record.
-
We won't struggle to attract good players, we still have more resources than most teams and ultimately people only care about money.
-
It would be quite funny if we did win the appeal tbh. I don't think we will but let's see. I still think given the cirumstances a fine is a more appropriate sanction and I'd say that for any team.
