I guess when the game got rearranged and we were doing badly, most people thought sod it I won't bother. Maybe now we're in a bit of form and it looks like we have something to fight for, it's just a one off. I'll be there in any case.

Imagine if Leicester appeal and get 2 or 3 points back to then relegate Portsmouth after the end of the season. I genuinely think I'd die from laughter.

Leicester have been given a 6 point deduction

TV games for start of March announced. Our games against Norwich at home and West Brom stay as they were - the Norwich game will move though if either of us win our FA Cup tie as that is the 5th Round weekend. The next weekend is Coventry away - we both play on Wednesday so it will probably stay on Saturday, I'd guess that's likely to move for TV to 12.30pm but we'll find for sure next Thursday at 4pm... I was having a look at trains for all our home games and there are quite a few weekends with engineering works coming up around Southampton, Winchester or Eastleigh which is a bit of a pain.

The club are trialling digital tickets for the West Brom away fixture next month. I know it's mandatory in the Premier League (starting from this season) so I can understand why they're trialling it in preparation for a future season (hopefully) but it's a shame. I've got a nice collection of away match tickets.

It looked like they were making a surge into the play off places but their form has dipped recently - no win in 4, probably 5 after Hull, if we play like we did on Saturday then we should win. Hopefully we're over our own blip and can move forward.

Gut feeling. He's only really played at higher level clubs, he's struggling now but sometimes a step down is a good thing for him to find his confidence again. Which he will want to do when he has a home World Cup coming up.

Larin on a loan makes sense. Should be good enough for the Championship and if it doesn't work out then cheerio. Personally I think it's a good signing.

Not against selling Armstrong but not bringing in a replacement is ludicrous. Assuming Archer is off as well, we can't be relying on Stewart and then youngsters!

Excellent stuff today. Perfect away performance. Defence in particular outstanding. Kept them quiet all game. Just some reflections on the day. Operationally the bubble was very smooth. I hope that if we do play each other next season however it is reconsidered; now we've got the first league meetings out of the way for 14 years, next season's matches (assuming they stay up) won't be as intense and fans can be trusted to make their own way to the ground with the appropriate police protection. The game itself was scrappy, we were too direct at times, although it did work for our goal. Proud of our players for fighting and battling and for dealing with the hostile atmosphere - hopefully going forward it gives them a bit of confidence. If we can put together a run we can climb up the table but we have to start now. Neither team deserved to lose and a draw was a fair result. And the locals are still just as inbred as ever. Jesus christ, some of the stuff on show today in that city.

Comedy gold stuff

Last time we won a tight game in midweek by one goal, we went on a nice winning run. A win and a clean sheet more important than the performance tbh. Hopefully we can push on and look forward.

The fact Sport Republic were seriously considering him at all says it all.

I suspect the powers that be have given up on this season and feel it's not worth signing anyone until the summer.

If we lose this game it should be the catalyst for mass protests. It won't though because our fanbase is too soft.. no doubt half the away end at Fratton will be players friends and families clapping them off no matter the result

We need half a dozen new signings minimum. And that's just to be competitive Anyone from this season still here should be squad options at best.
