  1. It has not freezed for a while now, not sure if it is a coincidence but I have gone in via http://www.ar.aljazeerasport.tv/Live/channel/hd4
  2. I am on overplay, ipad works fine, web stops after about 30 seconds on any channel. The site provided by ART works fine on +5 with english commentary, quality isn't up to the official stream but it is pretty good. AJS is worth the money, for me, for the quality of the picture, but only if they can make it stable.
  3. Overplay wasn't working at the start of the week, but it is back up and running fine for me with Al Jazeera Sport .
  4. Worked fine on channel +8 but had same issue as everybody else on channel HD2. The +8 channel appeared to be in HD, worth noting for future games, try another the non HD branded channels.
  5. HD6 is HD quality for me and with English commentary. If possible avoid wireless and use an ethernet cable for your connectivity.
  6. You don't need the VPN, you only need to configure the smartdns, which involves changing the DNS Server address on your device (PC, MAC, iPhone, iPad or Router).
  7. Thanks signed up to Overplay and AlJazeera for a month. £15 in total via paypal, worth the gamble. All working within 5 mins and the quality is as good as Sky HD.
  8. He used to hire a squash court at Fleming Park for 2 hours and just spend the time hit the ball as hard as he could and working on his control. The Monday evening before the cup final he was on his own on the astro turf just doing drills with a ball, I got the impression he just wanted to lap up the euphoria that was surrounding the city at the time. Good honest pro who made the most of the ability he had.

  10. Should have been "Instead, we continue to hear that the scousers played no part at all, everybody else is to blame."
  11. As I said, I am not expert on all that has been written on the subject, but "I have not seen anything to suggest the people who died could be implicated in anyway." But the point I was trying to make (poorly) was that some of the other Liverpool supporters on the day should have the decency to hold there hands up saying there actions contributed to the disaster. Instead, we continue to hear that the scousers played no part at all, everybody is to blame. And you ask what has Heysel got to do with it? It puts in to context some of the actions of supporters at the time, which was deemed to be the norm. At heysel the crash barriers buckled because of the over crowding in the Liverpool end, under slightly different circumstances the deaths at Heysel could have been Liverpool supporters.
  12. The police, the stadium owners / designers, the FA, etc take the vast majority of the "blame". I have not seen anything to suggest the people who died could be implicated in anyway. But, anybody who went to games regularly in the mid 80's will be able to tell you the Liverpool supports were far from angels. Breaking into grounds without tickets was the "norm" for more than a few individuals. So what is galling about this whole sorry affair is the repeated affirmation from various people that nobody from Liverpool had any responsibility, this is utter tosh. The following article written by a Liverpool supporter and published in The Times, gives a feeling for what it was like. http://www.est1892.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=1975467&postcount=5
  13. That goal:
  14. It was a total dive, he knew exactly what he was doing. He ran into the keeper. Hammond bottled it. He should have used his left foot to shoot past the keeper, he tried to take the easy way out. It was a rubbish attempt at cheating by Hammond and that is why he didn't argue about the booking.

    Jacksons Farm

Simple answer is no, but the following statement does cover it: "The remaining 1,400 will be built at either Allington Lane or Hedge End."
  16. 2 Wise and Beasant
  17. There was some booing of Cortese, FACT. But to put it in context, it happened when saints were winning and they showed Marcus on the screen which resulted in a lot of cheering and then moved on to Cortese, which generated some pantomime like booing. If they had shown Cortese first it would have not generated any booing or certainly not the level of booing. Lighten up people it was partytime and the booing of the "villian" compared to Marcus was fun in that context. BTW, I did not boo or cheer Mr Cortese..
  18. Thanks. The saints are coming can be found at the link below: http://www.garageband.com/mp3cat/.UZCEZCiE46w/01_U2_GreenDays.mp3
  19. Apology from the club / Wembley / royal / TNT for those still waiting? No? Thought not!
  20. Just phoned up to be added to the "duplicates list". Saints ticket office staff will be at the "West Ticket Office" at Wembley on Sunday morning and they will be able to print off duplicates. Proof of ID will be required, along with the order number. If tickets arrive in the post in the meantime they will still be valid. I saved the best bit until last. The ticket office staff are traveling up on the supporters coaches, so the ticket office will be open from around 10.30am on Sunday at Wembley. So, in event of any incidents on the roads on Sunday morning or even just extremely heavy traffic (surely not) the staff may not arrive and be ready to print duplicates until later. Big question is how many people have not received there tickets (and won't receive them by Sunday)? At the moment I would guess it is running into 1000's. Unless the majority of the missing tickets turn up in the next few days, it is going to be a shambles at Wembley come Sunday lunchtime.
  21. Interesting article worth a read: http://betting.betfair.com/football/english-football-league/league-one-betting-preview-saints-marching-into-the-champi-040310.html Including "This Tuesday something big happened. It wasn't on my usual five mile run around north London, as I glided past 'Minty' from Eastenders....yes it was him!!! No, something even bigger than than that occurred - Southampton absolutely smashed Huddersfield at St Mary's. A 5-0 drubbing of the Terriers was just about the performance from any team this season - and Alan Pardew's men are now 7.40 in the promotion market. I think that's a wager worth having. "
  22. Check online under order history, if you have a logon. Not surprising considering there is no online service today.
  23. A deck chair over looking a burger bar outside.
  24. Segregation at Wembley is done in quarters, so we only get over 45k if Carlisle don't sell more than 22k, which is quite posible but not guaranteed.
  25. Tickets were available for£40, not sure if that was a high or low priced seat though.
