  1. Gotta be a chartered coach job
  2. Yes, thats the bestest most passionate spit in all the land, and it brings a healthy gloss to your hair too
  3. More on the theme 'pluckiest hero to most spat-upon zero' - old news now, but you really couldn't make it up: "Pompey chairman McInnes reveals how he went from saviour to being spat at by a fan" http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2530430/Portsmouth-chairman-Iain-McInnes-reveals-went-saviour-spat-fan.html
  4. Even their 'star' goalie isn't immune http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/carson-error-costs-pompey-win-1-5833534 "Trevor Carson was the hero turned villain as Pompey threw away a precious victory at Morecambe."
  5. Thats an interesting point. I suspect their "hero to zero" curve is a bit like this: i.e. as soon as they realise their current 'legend'/'hero' actually wishes to be paid according to the terms of their contracts, rather than walking away into the sunset with nothing, they instantly become villains/zeros/enemies of the phew
  6. Or how about #p!sspoorportsmouth
  7. #l2strugglersportsmouth
  8. If a picture says a 1000 words then these, nutjobs, constitute the Complete Works of Shakespeare;
  9. I really thought that them getting their comeuppance & being relegated from the FL would be too good to be true. But I've got a good feeling about it now It really could happen
  10. Agent Connolly's under cover mission to 'provide hope, then kill them with disappointment' continues to run according to plan
  11. They had to win that, shame about that late equaliser Happily, Sarfend won their match last week making a 16-point gap that the skates must cross to be within sniffing distance of the playoffs - a yawning chasm which hopefully they will fall into screaming 'no fair, we wus robbed, we're much too bestest to possibly be in L2 another year' etc.
  12. come on Morecambe
  13. 'Richie Barker feels his Pompey side are now due a change of luck' http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/barker-our-luck-will-turn-1-5829905 Well, that's all right then - after all, everyone knows that blind optimism and casual disregard for budgetary constraints will beat hard work and diligence any day.
  14. What with that and the well-publicised infiltration of scummahs - who paid, but will demand the return of, £100 deposits - the dwindling phew may soon be entirely reliant our 'support'. Now *that* would be a good point for us to walk away whistling nonchalently
  15. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/shameful-web-abuse-wrongs-wallace-1-5825730 Hero to Zero
  16. I stand corrected. I trust Morcambe will be able to find it in their hearts to do the decent thing & hammer 9 kinds of cr@p out of them
  17. They're off to Morecambe, who are doing well, on Saturday. Come on you Shrimpers
  18. "Mr Antonov quit Portsmouth football club in June 2011, when his company went into liquidation. The club’s financial woes continued with docked points and two subsequent relegations. The club is now two points above the relegation zone in league two." Class act.
  19. RE. the ongoing handbags between @factlessallen & @brianhowe01 - its business as usual pompey style, heroes become villains by default as soon as they've outlived their 'usefulness'
  20. Ha! looks as if the penny may have dropped ...
  21. Sorry, didn't read the OP properly - thank you for putting me right
  22. http://www.statto.com/football/odds/england/league-two/relegation
  23. In fact they're so massive that right now they would have to overcome a 14-point deficit to even get near the play-offs. And there's the mouth-watering prospect of their being docked more points for *another* administration if rumours turn out to be true (again). Where's that saints-themed popcorn thingummy?
