Why do we need tighter restrictions? This is being swallowed hook line and sinker. Are we sure the horse hasn’t bolted and infections are no longer being spread on buses and in pubs and already in communities that may have it. I mean who hasn’t got message of precautions and washing and not going near anyone?

Are they doing any follow up on all the new infections to identify where they may have caught it? Just having more cases isn’t a justification for stopping outdoor exercise.

I love the way people put pictures of rural car parks as as sign of all mixing and spreading the infection. Are they banning driving to the supermarket too as their car park look pretty busy? Of course it is not easy getting out of a car without spluttering on others.

We are wasting enough money I wouldn’t get your knickers in a twist over costs of tests. You realise doctors are calling for this as number of staff absent as a precaution when could be at work if we knew they did not have the virus.

As long as they talk about doing your bit to protect the NHS and say ‘save lives’ 15 times a briefing a number of mugs will swallow it. We do need to not start bickering but the testing and lack of is scandalous. Losing confidence.

But it is a lot quieter. They are not having to do 60 hours a week because so many people are flaunting the rules. Some chief constables like to make names for themselves at times like this.
