I know its "just a kit", but I would really like to see this announced, because it is a symbol of the club and hopefully will act as a rallying point for getting behind the club and establishing new direction for the team.

I am very pleased that yet another stressful chapter in the history of our club is drawing to a close. Will be good that he is in place, and almost certainly thinking about his squad already, so that he can face the likes of Shaw, Lallana, Lovren and Schneiderlin when they return from the WC and try to sell his vision to them. I am a little nervous that he has the necessary personality to deal with such a tricky task, but he has a fairly impressive record overall (except Valencia) and hopefully has the contacts in place to do a god job reinforcing the squad. I wish him all the best.

How Johnson keeps Clyne out of the squad, I'll never know.

Sterling and Sturridge should get another game. Gerrard should be benched, but who do you play instead ? Rooney is never going to make a mark on a WC. Put him on the bench and play Lallana there instead.
