  1. Seeing is believing. All well-and-good saying only Mopo and SRL have left as of yet, but on the other hand nothing positive has happened as of yet...
  2. Putting a new signing into the new kit is an obvious and easy PR coup to pull off.
  3. Exactly. If Rooney signed it, does that means he is bogging off back to his Scouse flea-pit ?
  4. Struggling to find a problem with the piece, tbh.
  5. Sorry, cannot take posts like this seriously. It sounds like something Lowe's PR plants would have wrote. My respects to you for keeping up the act so well.
  6. Maybe it is, maybe it isnt. You can never tell with Turkish. However, if it isnt, his anti-NC agenda is becoming somewhat tedious.
  7. LOL. Well WUMmed, sir.
  8. Agree with this completely. Would have loved Everton pipping Arsenal to 4th and watching The Gunners go into a meltdown that would make whats going on at SMS look like a vicarage tea party.
  9. Agree with this, but it might all become moot if he forsakes his greed and hands in a transfer request before the WC or Thieving Scousers FC cave in and agree to our valuation.
  10. The new manager will want a chat with him when he gets back from Brazil and a couple of days to let him chew over his words before a move is approved, I suspect. Especially if he has a disappointing WC, which looking incrreasing likely, imo. All is not lost, but it does look unlikely.
  11. Yes, I think you are right. I wouldnt risk him in the starting XI against Italy. But maybe he will refocus when the games start.
  12. Nope. They are simply not big enough, whatever Pochettino and Levy think.
  13. My appreciation to Guan also for sharing this. My interpretation is that Lallana is a mouthy trouble-maker and its time for him to leave - but not at any price. The deal has to make sense for the club, and so they are playing hardball. The secrecy surrounding Shaw indicates to me that the club either want to keep him or fancy their chances at keeping him with a new high-profile managerial appointment, or the deal that being cut will really not be to the fans liking. It may also indicate a second club is waiting in the wings (Chelsea ?). All very mysterious. The secrecy surrounding the managerial appointment is perfectly understandable; the club dont want to be gazumped. I get the impression, perhaps mistakenly, that these two are the only risks of imminent departure; non-reference/discussion indicates to me that Lovren, J-Rod, Chambers, Wanyama, Fonte and Cork are a long way off from departing - at the moment, of course.
  14. There will be another statement after Lallana leaves ...and another statement after Shaw leaves ...and another statement after Lovren leaves. Its clear to me these statements are just about buying time while the SFC carcass is picked clean of any playing assets.
  15. Right, so the notion of this being a "sport" has finally gone then. There is simply too much money involved.
  16. Yes. Shouldnt they actually be preparing for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent their country to the best of their ability in the home of samba football with all its glamour, rather than chucking their toys out of their pram ? I bet we all feel stupid for feeling pleased about their breakthrough into the England team now...
  17. Yep. Looking forward to some serious hammerings at the hands of Uruguay and Italy. Maybe a few egos will deflate a bit and start to disbelieve the hype.
  18. This is too much to take at the moment......... Really, if the authorities dont look at the total evisceration of our squad this summer as evidence that something is seriously wrong in the game, then all notion of this being a "sport" has finally gone.........
  19. Nope sorry, in this time of more cost-awareness, we dont need expensive passengers.
  20. He can go if he Liverpool match SFCs valuation. End of. Otherwise, hes going nowhere.
  21. Yup. Buy the excuse that Lambert was a special case if you will (I dont), but letting lallana go after this circus will really be the proverbial straw. A lot depending on the next few days...
  22. Adam Lallana, 27.05.2014 : http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/27581265 Adam Lallana, 02.06.2014 : http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/27674609 Whats happened in between ? The bloke has been brainwashed in the England training camp. Probably by at least Gerrard (maybe Lambert now joining in), at Rodgers behest, with Hodgsons approval. Time for the FA to grow a pair..........
  23. Yup. Life's a b*tch... Every last gram of respect I had for him has gone by him going to the BBC.
