  1. Any yet wimmin across Europe are getting annoyed about this. The silly tarts want their cake and eat it too...
  2. There's an argument to be made to FIFA/UEFA/FA/PL here if they start considering punishing the club. Claus's f**k ups actually were doing the club harm, rather than the opponents. As has been said now a couple of times, you have to wonder now about a few incidents during the 2004/05 relegation season...
  3. Care to explain why before you get stuck in with the moronic abuse ? NA and NC are perfectly capable of shopping elsewhere before equally good deals disappear; we dont have to wait for Villas-Whatshisname to get his thumb out of his *rse and make his mind up. And if they come back to us ather dithering, why should we pay what we originally agreed ? Feel sorry for you that you are only capable of one-dimensional thinking.
  4. Any person in their right mind, from whatever shade of the political spectrum, can see that Cameron is just about the worst Prime Minister the UK has had in living memory, even beating Gordon Brown to the accolade. His Government has achieved absolutely nothing and has performed more u-turns than a middle-aged spinster taking her driving test for the 30th time. Now, whether that is because he is the chinless wonder he appears, or because the Libdems have managed to neuter him like a flea-bitten alley cat with the coallition agreement, its difficult to say.
  5. Isnt that a perfect summary of the LibDems role in this coallition ?
  6. You may be right. But why the f**k should the Tories play ball on headline pet LibDem policies when the LibDems have vetoed and leaked everything the Tories have tried to achieve into extinction ?
  7. You're wasting your time, Mr. Hovis. Message I am getting from posting on here is the proposed changes are just to satisfy the closest thing to blood-lust and petty revenge that a LibDem (and Verbal) will admit to feeling from their elevated and morally-enlightened position in the natural order.
  8. Great post. Well done you.
  9. This is Claus's worst offence of the lot - getting Lowe back in the press about us. You can just imagine beetroot-faced bastard rubbing his hands in glee, around the ubiquitos "nothing to do with me, Guv" comment
  10. Jesus. And I am accused of having a distorted agenda-driven screwed-up perspective of the world. You dont have a chip on your shoulder, you have a length of 2 x 4...........
  11. Hope you are right. Nothing these tosspots do surprises me though.
  12. Yep, more class warrior stuff, combined with this obsession that democracy is the perfect "one size fits all" solution for every decision making body despite the disaster Iraq and Afghanistan have become. Simple fact of the matter is that the British government system has been around for centuries, has stood the test of time, and has widespread respect around the world, and has worked better than the likes of the US and Russian systems, to cite but two examples. The cliche that the Lords is full of senile old greying men with bad nasal and ear hair, sleeping through important discussions before going back to their country pile to abuse the charwallahs that still work for them is insulting and inaccurate. Oh, and your rude, patronising, arrogant and dismissive style of debating does your side of the argument no good at all, when one considers that what you really want is to pack the Upper House with political clones of yourself.
  13. I dont think it is. Imagine the Brian Mawhinneys of FIFA, the FA and the PL jumping all over this to set some sort of example or extract some sort of political advantage, and what impact this might ultimately have on all the hard work the players and staff of the latter-day club have put in...
  14. What a crying shame that no-one had the foresight to introduce his cerebellum to blunt end of a Bacardi Breezer bottle all those times he was harassing girls and chucking up on the floor in Jumpin Jaks................
  15. Why ? If we have an elected Upper house, it will become politically polarised, and we will have the US situation where either the lower house tries to make law and the upper house blocks it all, meaning nothing gets done, or everthing the lower house proposes gets passed, including crap law, which is essentially the autocracy you claim to fear. If it aint broke, dont fix it.
  16. I didnt say that. And I find your implication that a fully-elected upper house would prevent bad law being made as one of the most ridiculous things I have ever read on here. After all, a fully-elected lower house thought those laws up and drafted them in the first place.... One question: Do you wish to discuss this sensibly, or will you maintain your left-wing superior patronising tone in your posts ? Let me know, it will save us both a lot of time.
  17. Explain to me how the "upper house" fails to do that in its current form. Bills are being sent back to the Commons all the time. Personally, I dont see the stupid petty ideologies pervading decision making in the Lords. What I do see is a small group of extremely intelligent and experienced men and women attempting to ensure that when law is passed, it is good law. And in that respect, the current system is already working. Just because some of you class-warriors dont like the "hiring strategy"....
  18. Give the bell-end hell from us..
  19. Jesus, dont even go there...
  20. If I were NC I would indicate an expiry date on that offer and drop the price by 500K thereafter.
  21. Not sure the reason for your usual heavy sarcasm, I am in complete agreement with NCs approach and therefore you as well.
  22. Do any of you lot getting so het-up about this want to take a few moments to answer two perfectly reasonable ways to ask the same basic question, and therefore explain why the rest of us should be getting so worked up as Clegg, his goons, his sheep and his acolytes ???
  23. Erm, who said they have ? We are just discussing how NC reacts to the events of the past 36 hours.
  24. Maybe it will come down to how much NA really wants him. Personally, I think we have options in Büttner's positons already. If NA and NC are more focused on the GK and CB positions now, they may well let this one drop.
  25. Or they will open a colossal can of worms, and make an initial example out of the only club whose players have now on two occasions, admitted to some involvement. We are not big fish in the PL, we have no oily nepotistic patron in the heirarchy of the FA or PL, they can send a nice, safe message to the rest of English Football. I am worried.
