  1. If we keep this particular "looney tunes" off here, we have to do the same with other "looney tunes" in the name of consistency. So I will take this opportunity to wish you all the best, Verbal. I am sure you made the odd post of value at some time or another...
  2. What a load of b*ll*cks.
  3. Just one, of many : http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2169519/Bright-maths-pupils-failed-state-schools-global-league-tables-place-Britain-26th.html
  4. This has got to be a f**king joke, right ? What purpose does this serve ? What about all the "moving forwards" crap ? A pity the government and police never pursued the IRA like this. Does this government activiely think up ways of destroying the morale of this nation? These blokes will be 80 years old - do they get immediate release under the Good Friday Agreeement too ?
  5. Is that Ellie's pubes sticking out the top in #8 ?
  6. So anyone who refuses to succumb to newthink about the actions of Bomber command is childish, are they ? Seems to me you are reducing this to a slanging match; I thought ( untiil now ) this discussion had been well above the usual standard on SWF in the maturity stakes, to be honest.
  7. All the best Whitey, always found you to be one of the nicer posters on here. Get well soon.
  8. Did he ? Superb. I always though him quite intelligent and eloquent, so when I heard he would be on there I was confident he would the give the other panellists a run for their money.
  9. Good post, TG. I studied at Manchester Uni in the late80s/early 90s, and have been scared to go back on a visit since the mid-90s because I know that because Manchester was so rejuvenated by the Commonwealth Games (in conjunction with the rebuild of the Arndale following the IRA bomb attack), that the place simply wont be the same to me.
  10. Well, I am sure they want 3rd Division as revenge on the rest of Scottish Football, not through some sort of sense of honour. But then again I dont blame them. Yes I know RFC has been run by a bunch of crooks, but thats not the fans fault, and the rest of Scottish football arent exaclty short in the schadenfreude department.
  11. Dont believe you. On the other hand, are you mixing him up with John Terry ?
  12. Even I've seen him there in the Kinglsand on my infrequent visits.
  13. Its a win-win situation for them in terms of viewing figures.
  14. If its costing less than 16.5billion, the expected revenue, surely its simple to see from the balance sheer that it was a benefit and not a drain ? also 62000 jobs and the transformation of one of London's worst sh*tholes ? Sounds like a winner to me.
  15. Surprised about the 7th Signal Regiment, no losses to the Ghurkas, and such deep cuts to the Engineers.
  16. Alpine doesnt like the televised fixtures. How dare he. Lets whinge about him for 30-odd posts. And you lot say I get worked up....
  17. Excellent post. Hope the career prospects improve with the bit of experience you are about to get under your belt.
  18. What w*nky fixtures. You can see Sky's thinking. Two pastings and two relegation 6-pointers.
  19. Are all teams going to end up in red to placate Asia ???
  20. Well, this is a mess : http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/defence/9376906/Scottish-infantry-spared-as-English-regiments-axed.html So the Argyls survive as a small ceremonial unit and not a fighting force. Suppose I'd rather they went out in a blaze of glory, tbh. This is not the regiment of Mad Mitch and Aden. Yet again preferential treatment of Scotland has raised its ugly head. Has Pie-Face opened his mouth again ? Thinking about it, maybe it made more sense to ditch Sweatie regiments in preparation for British independence from Scotland.
  21. I understand what you mean. However I do that, simply because regular Coke is hideously sweet.
  22. I just discovered that its forerunner saved my fathers life about 55 years ago. Glad that SGH will still be leading the way in this field.
  23. So, now Reagan at the SFA has found his balls : http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2168730/Rangers-booted-SPL-Scottish-rivals-reject-newco-appeal.html However, they are only little shrivelled balls. He hasnt actually told the SPL they must re-admit Rangers, no, he's just bullying and emotionally blackmailing the SFL. The arrogance of this is breathtaking. The selfish SPL clubs with chips on their shoulders kick out Rangers, then through their CEO and the boss of the SFA tell the SFL they must take Rangers at their top level in order to protect their revenue. F**king unbelieveable. I hope Rangers stick up the middle finger and insist on 3rd Division re-entry, safe in the knowledge that when Scottish Football fails completely, they will be able to apply to enter the English Football League.
  24. Fantastic news. Very pleased for all of you who helped with the campaign.
  25. Completely with your last two posts. Chapel End Charlie, I have this impression that your feelings towards Harris are tainted by something. I dont know what, and its your business of course.
