Last team to win the Championship after promotion from League One

Heheheheh. And it continues !!!!! I didnt tell Minty tighter moderation is required, I said this site could benefit with people taking the time to read posts from others properly before firing off the abusive/sarky response. A point that you have just proven in a way I could not have imagined a better example of... -

but that wasnt the question, FFS. Another dyslexic/illiterate gimper... -
I dont see how you can conclude this yet. Inside the top 6 or 7, probably. But I reckon with a bit of luck this squad with a couple of reinforcements could get top 12.

A lot more of that is required on here sometimes, Minty.. -
Unless he is doing something to undermine our chances, like passing tactical information to Reading's management or demotivating our players at Staplewood, whilst I understand the irritation in seeing him getting all moist at a Reading win and promotion, I dont see a major concern here.

Read and despair at the perspective of the people running the game in Europe.... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-city/9198119/Manchester-City-late-kick-off-draws-bigger-Uefa-fine-than-Portos-racism-against-Mario-Balotelli.html

This. We neglected our best striker for the second half of the season, never tried to break into the top 2, and in the playoff we left the worst player, who was having a 'mare, on the pitch on to take the first peno.

Wings were stronger then. Central positions are stronger now. Up front is a dead heat. As someone elses has said, the essential differences are in the management.

Hillarious. You know f**k-all about football, hence your continual gimping about bookies odds in its discussion. And the connection between love of all things mathetmatical, statistical, probable and a total lack of sociability and understanding of human psychology has long been well-established, so reading you lecture about this leaves me in tears of mirth....

Even that bunch of self-important self-aggrandising tw*ts on the other side Lancashire play on the anniversary of the biggest disaster that befell their club. I'd like to know why the FA tolerates it. If a match falls on the 15th, they can always default it if it means so much to them not to play. Why must Chelsea tolerate less-than-optimal preparation for their Champions League semi-final ?

Hey, WAZ, where you been ???

Here we go with that "no clue" sh*t again... Talk about twisting what I wrote. I never "moaned" that they had chances against us, I wrote that because some of those chances sounded a close thing, its a bit over-the-top to describe the performance as "comfortable" React to what I wrote, not what you'd like to see as justification for being abusive.
-
I am well chuffed about the Palace result, I was quite nervous about that one, especially after the 2 previous games. I just think its a bit of an exaggeration to say "comfortable", inferring we didnt let them get a sniff at goal
-
So Palace didnt have those chances, then ?
-
There seems to be some revisionism / forgetfulness in these parts. I thought Palace missed a number of sitters, especially after we went 1-0 up. I dont think it sounded "comfortable"

Well, I think Alan is right. Its about time Liverpool stopped the wallowing self-pity b*ll*cks.
-
Well, thats good to know. I suspected it was because he posted a similar video a few months back with a similar link, and that was full of abuse. Its a cartoon, isnt it ?
-
I cannot access this at work, but I predict when I look at it at home later its full of abuse about me. Very, very tedious...

If Reading really rested key players last night and still ground out a win, I am not confident we are going to get something on Friday. Not only have they got the talent, but it seems they are simply oozing confidence. Something with us that I feel is a little bit fragile.
-
Really ? Peterborough are awkward b*stards managed by the Son of Most Awkward B*stard of All, and therefore an awkw*rd bastard himself - you never know which team will turn up Middlesbrough might have a very poor run of form currently, but poor runs of form end sometime, and they still just about have something to play for Coventry might save themselves by beating us.
-
Yes, but I am of the opinion you have a high chance of achieving the result below the one you play for. Ergo, play for a draw and you lose. Always, always play for a win. A draw against Reading is not a bad result, but we certainly shouldnt play for it. Mathematically, Wham can still pass us. We need 6 more points to be certain, 3 will probably do it, but lets see.

hehehehe. Depends on how much curry and Brussel sprouts they eat before the game.
