He has the ability to be our next MLT, but I am not sure he will take it.
-
Well I think you are being too generous. Kind of you, but unecessary.
-
Fonte needs to have a word with himself before the Peterborough game.
-
eric, please dont jump on the TSW bandwagon. I go to games whenever I am back in the UK, and watch Saints often on feeds and the Austrian subscription channel Sport Digital (which mirrors Skys Championship coverage)
-
Yeah, I am sure Crissie Kirchner and her mates Hugo and Seany Penn get their intelligence from an English Championship fans chat site...
-
Lets hope Argentina dont notice......
-
I really dont get this mentality. And this isnt personally against you, because about 50% of the posts on here are saying the same thing. If we self-inflicted 3 goals against Reading, why will we suddenly self-inflict 0 goals against other teams ? The mistakes are part of our performance; how the f*ck can you treat them as two separate entities ? This "play like that the rest of the season and we will be comfortable" attitude is utter codswallop.

FFS. Sky are sabotaging our promotion campaign.
-
I reckon we are still more likely to secure 2nd than Wham. However, I hope NC has taken note and has started drafting his summer shopping list, because to survive in the PL this team will need major surgery in defence, midfield and possibly GK. Of last nights starting XI, I would only definitely keep Rickie, Jos and Jack.
-
Christ, we've got some arrogant bad losers in our fan base. Calling Reading "plastic c*nts" and describing us as "mugged" - really poor.
-
Come on Jos, how can you say that so blase ? Is this really what NA told them ?
-
As was Hammond As was Fonte Cork was no great shakes either Jos looked uncertain, but it could be he is suffering because Fonte is crap at the moment. DeRidder is still all fart and no sh*t. Chaplow was chaotic. Butterfields crosses were pants. If Guly changed the tempo of the game in exactly the opposite way to what we needed, its NAs fault for sending him on.

I agree with all of TDDs comments. Imo hes not going to make it at the highest level. His play is too fussy, too hectic.
-
Nature of the beast. Get a result, shift focus to the next one. though we might find ourselves dwelling on having lost 3 points to Bristol City at SMS in a couple of weeks time.
-
Nope, it all evens out. That's why after 46 games the team at the top has earned the right to be described as "the best team" At 43 games its Reading, and with them having two easier home games and us having two tough games on the road, it seems at this time likely to continue being Reading.
-
You mean those qualities we spectacularly failed to demonstrate tonight ?
-
Nope, its the cold hard facts. Pick your dummy up and calm down.
-
Yep, lets just hope we stagger over the line before Wham.
-
Frank, your post is a little different though. You are admitting that our team has frailties. I am objecting to seeing people post sh*t like "Reading mugged us" when they didnt. They played a strong, intelligent game tonight (I wish we could do that sometimes) and ground out the result they needed.
-
I know that, you are the one clutching at straws saying things like "we were the better team, pwease agree with me or I'll cwy"
-
As is all the moronic abuse they provoke.
-
All these posts either telling me what to do or abusing me, and none of them actually dealing with the issue. Let's hope NA can be a bit more objective than "We wuz robbed", "We wuz mugged" "we had more possesion, we must be the better team" and "fate always conspires to promote the teams that truly deserve it", otherwise our promotion campaign is REALLY screwed over the last 3 games.
-
This. And the team relies on him to deliver too, and at the moment he simply isnt.
-
What a load of crap. We had a lot of possession, and couldnt do anything with it. Even our goal took a cruel deflection. I dont view ineffectual possession as the way to judge who is the better team, I view doing what needs to be done with the ball to get the desired result as the mark of the better team. And tonight much as it pains me to say it, it was Reading.
