If we go up, I will have to stop paying 10 Euros subscription and pay 30 Euros for a different package and will see Saints less often, because Sky arent going to show us in the PL anywhere near as often as they have this season, where we must have been the most televised Championship team.

Lets hope that some of them - they know who they are - are professional and level-headed enough to analyse their own roles and do something about it on Tuesday.

Where did I say we had it all tied up ? Jesus, what is with the standard of reading on here ? I said "under control" meaning the job wasnt done but what was needed was clear and not complex to prepare for. This team, imo, have been having major focus issues the last couple of weeks. I understand the arguments about enjoying Saints more in the Championship than in the PL, but the question is, where do we go and what do we do next if we are the best team in the Championship and dont go up to the PL ? We're stuck in some sort of alternative dimension with no goals or targets to attain. The problem is, football is rotten to the core, and until there is major shock/upheaval in the way the game is run and organised, being in the PL seems a necessary evil.

Ok. Lets see how we feel about this subject in a few weeks time. I am predicting we will be hammered if we go into the playoffs. In the meantime, save your baiting for someone else.

Thats the problem with this place. Abuse is allowed if it comes mob-handed, and if you dare to try to point out you were correct in your assertion and the mob were wrong, you just get accused of being attention-seeking and saying "I was right". And if you dare snap at the volume of abusive response, you get infracted. Reconcile yourself to the fact that if you disagree with the flock of sheep you never get a fair hearing or consideration. I reckon this rates as the best post I have ever read on here. Almost perfectly summarises the situation, although I am not so certain as the OP that there is no bottling element to it at all.

Fair enough. The disappointments have all become a big blur. Doesnt detract from the point though. I also remember that season when we had the chance to go top 2 for the first time, at home against Derby, and flattered to decevie for the first half hour then before losing too.
