  1. Yep, it boils down to this. Reading and Wham have both given us chances to finish our promotion campaign.
  2. Blaiming the ref is a cop out. The game was 90mins long. We screwed up and choked the big occasion - again.
  3. Of course it will be on TV, its the only thing in the division still open. They will be doing their "cutting between games" thing between us and Wham. Much as I hate to say it, we need to pray Wham screw up on Monday, cos we aint going to win the final head-to-head.
  4. Yep, well done to them. Showed balls today to come back in the game against Palace. More balls than we've got, though a hareem of eunuchs has more balls than us.
  5. Fonte needs to find a new club.
  6. Gutless. That is not all.
  7. Our chinless wonders have no f**king chance in the playoffs.
  8. Our team let us down badly.
  9. I am sat here wondering if it is a useful expenditure of my energy to go off on one. After all, this was so unbelievably f**king predictable. Same as Reading game at start, only with a goal. We have glass f**king jaws. After the triumphant feeling of Wedensday, yet again we face the prospect of staggering over the f**king line. And what a pathetic surrender of a title we have worked all season for. Fonte needs to find another club, f**king tw*t.
  10. Yep, this. Reading were always more likely to drop the points next week.
  11. Le Fondre's a c**t. In fairness, they've fought themselves back into this game, and with only 10men. They are worthy champions elect...
  12. bored, bored, bored with stripes, and do not like the current one at all. Would like one of the following: Another sash design (but not white shorts) the quarters we used at the beginning of the 20th century A modern-day Patrick/Rank Xerox get-up. Maybe one of the reasons for the popularity of the sash was lack of sponsorship logo ?
  13. Assuming for one minute that this isnt previous (which of course it is), you have prompted me into my yearly speech where I say that I would like to see, just for once, Saints complete their bsuiness early, set their stall out, and hit the ground running, aiming to have the "safe" points on the board as early as possible. I am sure NA already has a mental list of targets to chase; I would preferr us to avoid all this hand-wringing and poncing about where we wait to the last nanosecond to see who becomes surplus to requirements - just for once.
  14. Christ, you are sooooo hard. I am very scared.
  15. Had me in tears. Superb effort.
  16. In what way was it personally abusive towards you in the way your comments were ? Oh, the SFC results/Titanic analogy wasnt a joke, either. It felt an appropriate analogy of the seasons direction at that time. You're just a bit of a **** really, arent you ?
  17. Yeah, I saw this yesterday and am somewhat disappointed by the comment. Its smacks of unbelievable arrogance. He may have a point from December onwards. We have still delivered the goods since then, and the fight for the title is not yet over, but for me I have this feeling of ocasional "mis-firing" and certain brittleness to our form. But up until December we were the dogs b*ll*cks, and he isnt giving any credit at all to the teams around Reading, especially us. Not particularly magnanimous in victory, and a tell-tale sign of lacking class. I expect NAs comments to be better cultured should Reading go tits up in the last two games and we go past them. I hope NA has pointed this comment out to the lads.
  18. Nice one, glad you enjoyed it.
  19. Good on ya, I cracked one off as well...
  20. Yep, the reason they look like winning the title today..
  21. I would make the rule more dynamic Top 3 promoted if the gap between 3rd and 4th is more than, say 3 wins (9pts), otherwise top 2 auto and play-offs. I feel quite sorry for West Ham (assuming a last minute catastrophe for us).
  22. I've just (finally) seen the scores. I'm so overwhelmed the way it worked out last night, I've just used up one of those little packs of tissues. Fantastic results. Fantastic performance, it sounds like, from our lads. Very pleased for Billy, if he can get a bit fitter and get a bit more focused, you have to say he could have a rosy future with us in the PL. Also pleased to hear that several other players, most notably Hammond, stood up and did their bit. So, one win away. Would be fantastic to do it on Saturday, so all of you that have been through thick-and-thin with the team this season can have a f**king good party against Coventry - you guys deserve it as much as the players. Very, very touched to hear someone wished me well on Solent; wasnt expecting that. I know I infuriate some of you but its great to realise that not only do we all bleed red-and-white, but that we can step back and recognise that we are all on the same side. I would love to be watching us earning promotion against Middlesbrough on TV over here on Saturday evening, just a pity I cant have a drink to celebrate..
  23. Of course you have, Captain Pugwash.
  24. I think the cellar / Frizl jokes are absolutely appaling.
