Its getting to the point now where any PL irregular/benchwarmer can expect to be back playing regular PL football within 6 months, if they were to jump ship to us in January. Surely for any footballer that still has a bit of integrity, and love for the game as opposed to pure greed motivation, that would be a tantalising prospect ? Especially if said players contract offered a reasonable wage increase if we go up ? I'm thinking a few ~30 year olds doing a McMenemy special and going out in a blaze of glory.
