  1. Its getting to the point now where any PL irregular/benchwarmer can expect to be back playing regular PL football within 6 months, if they were to jump ship to us in January. Surely for any footballer that still has a bit of integrity, and love for the game as opposed to pure greed motivation, that would be a tantalising prospect ? Especially if said players contract offered a reasonable wage increase if we go up ? I'm thinking a few ~30 year olds doing a McMenemy special and going out in a blaze of glory. Dont follow the PL any more, so dont know the squads and cannot give an example.
  2. In that case, it is down to every SaintsWeb member who goes regularly to games to spread the word.
  3. Exactly. However, the answer to the question is that if NC offered half-season tickets, we would probably sell a few, but the idea is a non sequitur because we are financially safe, dont need the cash up-front, and ultimately the club will make more revenue with single tickets.
  4. We are the dog's b*llocks. WHU are hanging onto our coat-tails by their fingernails.
  5. Not all hospitality packages sold ?
  6. hehehehehehehehehehe
  7. Lets face it, if WHU and Boro dont pull their thumbs out of their arses, this division is over by January.
  8. Nothing we can do about that: we just can only keep doing our thang...
  9. We scored ? Marvellous. They have to stop being disruptive now and come at us.
  10. Yes, but then come 70mins they are going to fancy their chances of mugging us. I expect them to be mistaken for the Acapulco Diving Club after that.
  11. The baboon-faced South-American tosspot is going to wreck our home record, isnt he ?
  12. Great, when do we start building warp cores, T-14 hyperdrive generators, Constitution-class starships and J-type 327 Nubians ??
  13. Considering his performances just before the break, is it not fair to say that his importance to the team means he should be mentioned in the same breath as Lallana and Lambert ?
  14. Wow. F**k me. Wasnt expecting that. I suppose if he is optimisitic about getting to the PL in the next 2 years, and we are starting to hit a few full-houses, he can see the potential in forward planning.
  15. Talk about hedging his bets..
  16. What is the point in the b*ll*cks that has been taking place over the last week-and-a-half (and thereby disrupting our winning run), apart from a marketing exercise for the FA and the sale of a few overpriced polyester shirts ? I am dreading all the jingoism, flag-waving and nauseous Sun headlines that will arrive next summer, made even worse by the fact that we mugged Spain...
  17. Agreed, and this one seems to be going on forever. Totally fed up of the Capello-to-Terry-to-Lampard-to-Rooney (when he's not a tw*t that has got himself red-carded for the tournament and so undermines any point in his participation) mutual masturbation sessions...
  18. I was a bit misty eyed. I have a little boy the same age, and am very familiar with the emotions and expressions of the boy in the ad. And the smile from him as he brings the present into his parents is heartbreaking.
  19. Fair enough, must have been mixing up me Manc bands. Maybe I was thinking of Oasis and The Fall.
  20. Cant ignore just how ill Markus looks in the photo accompanying that article. And Pardew looks like he knows.
  21. Which is strange, because if you could be bothered to do the research, I think you'd find the members of said bands more likely support City.
  22. Sorry, always thought Sally Cinamon a bit too sensitive- and wooftah-sounding to make a decent terrace chant.
  23. This. I despise the lie that Lowe invented "forward looking" and "investment in youth" at SFC.
