We have to get there first.... The team is carrying too many players who cannot or will not deliver week-in, week-out. -

Whether we like it or not, a pattern has emerged. We can beat teams below 8th, but we've been tonked by Carlisle and Huddersfield. Playoffs at best this season, I'm afraid. -
Not turned up today, I see..

At least its not a big team in the next round, maybe we can rest a few. -
I wouldnt mind using the sash as the start of a cycle to re-visit our old kits. So, I wouldnt mind quarters next season.
-
Its hard not to write him off though. He has been absent so often for so long. He is clearly our best striker when fit, and if (its a big IF) he could stay fit, he could be all the difference between mid-table and promotion this season.
-
The cup is a damned distraction from the much, much more important business of keeping our run going. Wonder how the cup luvvies will feel if Lallana or Barnard get injured ?
-
Nooope. They are clearly distinct countries that do have a separate identity. Wales's status is a f**king joke. Bale could have played for England and achieved something and he chose Wales on an issue of pride. Bonkers, imo.
-
Considering that he hasnt had access to the kings ransom that Pardoo and Burlinho had, in order to shape the team to his vision, yet he is getting the results based on those oh-so-quaint-in-modern-ex-moderately successful PL manger-managed-teams notions of hard work, fitness and tactical understanding, I would say he is doing f**king great. Keep up the good work, Nige !

Right, so you'd have to ask 10 people in Cardiff to find one that speaks the lingo. Wow, what a stranglehold it has on their cultural identity.... And of course, the other 89% dont speak ENGLISH, but a multitude of other languages, dont they ?
-
Lol, a pity young Gareth did not ask himself this very question.... If he is so proud of being Welsh, why hasnt he eschewed success and money altogether and isnt plying his trade for the Daffodil and Leek pub, Merthy Tydfill, in the Sheepsh*gger Sunday League ?

Obama is the US version of Tony Blair - all fart and no sh*t. Anyone who claims Palin is ugly is mental. As long as she keeps her gob shut, that is.
-
I'm ignorant ?? I'M IGNORANT ?? Go to Cardiff (erm, where Bale comes from...) and try to find a Welsh speaker. And remind me which country's League all the top (relative, I know...) Welsh clubs play. Or alternatively, carry on embarassing yourself.
-
I had a go at Pietersen, did I ? Strange, I thought I was having a go at Le God - The Legend. Mental
-
That's just plain b*ll*cks, sorry.
-
Exactly how I feel. There were too many behind-the-scenes issues it appears, going all the way back to February with some of the public comments flying backwards and forwards.
-
Actually, I lived in England for 30 years before moving here, and its a totally different country with a different language or culture. So I would choose England. Are you one of the "idiots" who cheer on the likes of Keven Pietersen for England ?
-
Is that an admission of being wrong ? Be serious. Choosing from the 4 would have been a straight fight between England or Wales anyway. Who chooses to play for Scotland or Northern Ireland when they can play for England ?
-
There's proud, then there is stupid. He might go off an be a Galactico at some point, but he will never have the Talismanic effect on a World Cup campaign like a Geoff Hurst, Diego Maradonna, Toto Schillachi, Gary Lineker, Paul Gascoigne, etc.

Oh, and I suggest you check his Wikipedia entry, Mr Smart-Ar*e....... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gareth_Bale "" Bale was eligible to play for England, through his grandmother, but he stated in 2007 that: "It is an honour to play for Wales... Nobody ever got in touch with me personally from England, only through my agent."[40] "" As I said, hes a mug.
