Huddersfield ?
-
Well spotted. OK, 3 of 9, with Charlton still to play.
-
If we are lucky...
-
All the platitudes in the world expressed on post-match reaction threads cannot hide the fact that we are wholy incapable of beating the teams around us. We've only beaten Oldham and Bmth of the top 9 or so.
-
A wholy inadequate response to last Saturdays result and the significance of tonights game. Our midfield doesnt seem to make things happen when Chaplow is not there and Schneiderlin is playing. I hope we sign Chaplow permanently.

Sheff Wed, Huddersfield and Bmth all won.

And not 5mins later, the whiny foot-stampy children turn up and throw their toys out of the pram if one dares to say anything less than gushing over another turgid mid-week Saints performance.
-
It doesnt f**king matter. We want promotion, we have to deal with teams who set their stall out like this.
-
Come on mate, get real. You know it as well as the rest of us.
-
Not good enough. We are going to regret all that wasted posession, we all know it. Saints choke another golden opportunity to get one foot on the promotion ladder.
-
Saints are the Andy Murray or Tim Henman of football...........
-
Pre-match nerves are making me fear a 0-1 mugging.
-
Big, big, big game tonight. Possibly the biggest of the season. Possibly the game that will indicate our fate this season. Can we mix it with the big boys in this division or not ? Wouldnt it be nice if, just for once, we dont choke a game as important as this ????????
-
Which just goes to show its an attitude problem, and therefore I hope we never see him in a Saints shirt again.
-
Top notch result, and top notch performance from what I've seen. This is a big result, going into the Brighton game. They will feel the pressure coming into this game, and if the result goes right, the league is blown wide open, with us potentially 3rd. Well done, lads. Work to be done on the road though...

Wow, I thought Lowe Luvvies had died out.. I found Puncheon's attitude to MLs remembrance service a disgrace, but could have lived with it if he had delivered on the pitch. I am totally ambivalent about his departure. I am worried that the squad seems to have some mewling prima-donnas within its ranks still.
-
We were already reliant on Alex before today's announcement. Puncheon aint delivering.
-
Yep. Chamberlain is embarrasing him.
-
Good news. Adkins is clearly losing patience with underperformers and is willing to do something about it.
-
To all those scoffing at the prospect of off-loading Lambert and Schneiderlin, ask yourself honestly - WHY ? From what I can tell, Chaplow makes a better contribution (if we can make a deal for him), and something really has gone wrong with Lambert. Maybe it is in player and clubs best interest if there were a parting of the ways for decent money, allowing a fresh player with similar impact to come in.

feeling a bit embarassed to be a Saints fan tonight

We got our noses up along side the leaders and the chasing pack, and choked - yet again. Its as simple as that. -

then it is best to reconcile to no promotion again, right now. It will help to cushion the blow for the resulting pull-out of Cortese and the Liebherr family. -

In such a tight promotion chase, the whole team has to perform, including Adkins, including Lambert. We f**ked up big time today. Got ourselves a sniff of a promotion spot, then failed to turn up YET AGAIN. We did it under Burley, we did it under Pardew. Only teams that can perform week in, week out, get promoted. And we are looking like also rans who cannot cope with the competition - again.
