  1. My understanding is yes.
  2. Agree with this. Its up there with the Keegan / Patrick kit for me. Message or Freudian slip ?
  3. On this I agree with you. The idea that he places orders for mechandise is just plain dopey.
  4. Why is it either ?
  5. I just called the Megastore. Was told "about 6 weeks" In my opinion its a holding statement.
  6. I would have said thats all pretty peripheral to NC when compared with revenue, to be honest. I'd put money down that he's b*ll*cking whoever is responsible.
  7. I've answered this already - did you ignore it ? The time being told to customers in the megastore has remained static for nearly month. Ergo, they havent got a delivery date.
  8. ITs nice to wear and a great souvenir, especially if we get promoted, especially if Pompey go the other way, double especially if Pompey get liquidated during this time
  9. Yep, its never SFCs fault in Happy-Clappy Land, is it ? I mean, the production manager at Umbro decided how many to make, didnt he ?
  10. Feck me, and you are being told up to 8 weeks. poor, poor management. Agree with your other point. You can almost hear the footstamping here in Austria when someone dares to criticise.
  11. More than last seasons kit, FFS. Even the article on the OS implies the order level was the same, since it says that the new kit sales has matched last seasons sales.
  12. I have seen them in-the-flesh. Luckily, the kids had not ran out and she managed to get my the kit for both my sons. My eldest proudly wore it to his first training session by his new team yesterday. I dont buy this "got on the blower" straightaway theory, seeing as the megastaore staff have clearly been saying "6 weeks" for the last month or so.
  13. Come off it. This is the clubs 125th anniversary kit. You are defending this for the sake of it.
  14. I was a waiting for a fred on this rather than start myself, since apparently I am always moaning. But what the hell, hey-ho... What cretinous baboon decided on order quantities for the new home kit shirt ? They really screwed that up, didnt they ? My mom tried to get me one 3 weeks ago and was told "6 weeks", now someone else on here tried this weekend and was also told "6 weeks" which in my book makes it 9 weeks. I reckon the reason the team hasnt played in it yet is because they havent got any to play in.....
  15. I reckon SFC completely underestimated the popularity. Which is stupid, considering the last one off this club expeirenced, the JPT final, had 50,000 Saints fans present when only about 20000 turn up weekly.
  16. Damn, beat me to it
  17. You reckon ? Pompey were allowed to sell players when the rules said they werent.
  18. Well I dont believe it. I also think SFC on the non-playing side has been a cosy closed shop for far too long, so anyone who comes in and sticks a toe up what is an overly-large derriere in order to deliver better customer service is fine by me. However, there is still room for improvement - whoever allowed the home kit to go out-of-stock with at least 6 weeks (now over 9 weeks) of delivery time for new supplies should be shot.
  19. More a case of not having played the team he's intending to play against Plymouth the entire summer, actually..
  20. FFS, me Mum was told that 3 weeks ago.. Are they actually bothering to re-stock ?
  21. LOL - very good
  22. Agree again with your post, except where the blame resides. Maybe NC is partly responsible, but the manager hasnt exactly done his job selling the need for strengthening to the chairman, has he ?
  23. Of course they should. I dont see that excludes the possibility of trying the team you actually intend to fight this campaign with when given the chance, though...
  24. The club is Swiss owned and managed. 'Nuff said. They dont talk about money.
  25. No, in fairness I would be p*ssed off, but I wouldnt seek to blame anyone.
