Get someone with as close to his skill set as possible; doesnt matter if he is not quite as good. I'd even stomach Oakley coming back if that is really as close as we can get. Why have you got to be so argumentative about it ?

This is exactly why people like me are bemoaning lack of squad depth. If Schneiderlin gets injured, we are going to have major problems.

Cheesy Blair...erm...Obama populism.

Hopefully an indicator that the situation is about to be resolved.

No, the real number was 26. What sort of daft question is that ? Even if they did, are you trying to claim it would be the first time ?

Count me in.. I will sort something out this week.

The rig that exploded was almost entirely American staffed. The blow-out prevented that failed was American manufacture. Sorry, considering exactly how the CIA and other US agencies behave, I consider it entirely possible the whole thing is a scam to get control of one of the worlds major non-American oil companies for long-term strategic purposes. After all, the Russians have been playing the same games for a few years now. Maybe if this is the case, Obama and his administration are oblivious, but they are certainly unwittingly playing their part well..

you dont think we need a decent second-choice GK too ?

Who is delighted we have kept our best players! (so far...)

I agree, but I keep hearing how there is plenty of time for us to bring new players in, so there is plenty of time for those 4 players to receive good offers and f**k off. -
I still think we are short in certain areas, you arent bothered if we are done on transfers.

Then dont expect promotion.

Pleased by the signing, we shouldnt need to look over our shoulders at our defence any more. Worried by no progress on GK, CM and pacey winger still. EDIT : Has he been brought in because Richardson has REALLY dislocated his shoulder ?

Anybody else thinks that this is an orchestrated activity by the US government to weaken and destabillies BP so that Exxon can walk-in and take over ? It was a US owned and run oil-rig that blew up. Obama has been talking BP down for months Now that the well is nearly sealed, we hear the US government is investigating a link between BP and the release of the Lockerbie bomber. Obama will comment on the temporary plugging of the well this afternoon just as BP shares are recovering Exxon has this week been linked with a takeover bid. Sorry, something stinks...
