  1. What's the rush ? Ever considered that our new owners and management might not have unlimited patience or open-ended chequebooks ?
  2. Spot on. Just as I think of dropping my guard against colossal disappointment, SFC perform true to form. I have tried on several occasions to get my sons convinced by taking them to SMS. Every time I do that, they act like complete donkeys. My eldest's first game was against Derby in the playoff season, FFS.
  3. who do we move to the subs bench ?
  4. Who the hell are you to judge that ?
  5. Well come on. He came on, moaned he doesnt post anymore then moaned that he doesnt like moaners. He even had the temerity to go on about posters seeking a reaction, FFS. How bizarre is that ?
  6. I dont think so, but maybe their goals or priorities change. I again need to point out that something appears to have changed in NCs expectations at least.
  7. Unbelievable. Amazing. And I get called a WUM. Are you self-aware ? My comment about "Markus's Money" was sparked by stupid sarcasm from YOU. Why should I have answered it with the respect you had already decided not to accord me ?
  8. Then go away and stop wasting server space, FFS.
  9. Walk away, close the cheque-book, call it what you will. It all amounts to the same thing - giving the club up as a bad job.
  10. See ? Again, a total lack of respect shown for other opinions, expressed in heavy sarcasm, yet I get lectured about my conduct.
  11. I can answer that very, very easily. I am afraid of ML and NC walking away if next season doesnt go "according to plan", and they are the best thing to happen to this club since the 80s.
  12. Controversial.
  13. Oh, that's alright then. Screw Markus's money...
  14. I should be free to express my opinion, deliberately and mischevously unbalanced, or completely objective, without fear of the personal abuse and "picking on"
  15. When have I subjected to you to personal abuse ? The worst I ever come out with is things like "Rubbish" or "drivel". I've disagreed with you at times, and I dispute your assertion that I am always wrong. I receive some bloody awful replies in terms of personal abuse for expressing my opinion or disagreeing with people on her. Why do you seek to justify that ?
  16. For me, this season was about getting promoted, not about Wembley. I stand by what I wrote. If it wasnt for a few dire away performances, we'd still be in the mix, -10 and slow start or not.
  17. I dont start this cr*p, but I will respond to a stream of nasty abuse just because my opinion of all-things-Saints doesnt toe the Party line or isnt in-vogue
  18. I dont see the big deal with this thread, tbh. What Johnny spectacualrly fails to see, is that following the fortunes of SFC are actually in some way even more important to ex-pats, because the club represents one of the few links left. When a local lad goes to the game, at least he can say he got ****ed, had a laff with his mates, ate 10 pies and had a fight. All we've got are the results, the teams progress and the standing of the club within the game. There are no consolations when you follow a team from afar. Why does emgirating mean we have to turn our back on our ENTIRE past lives ? I have very happy memories of Southampton. I've emigrated because it was best for the long-term fortunes (FUTURE) of my family.
  19. Yeah, blame the ref. How convenient. And we blamed the pitch after Wycombe. Wonder what it will be after the next away match ?
  20. Reckon that is a fair summary.
  21. You f**king what ? The amount of personal abuse that GS, TDD, myself and others get for commenting on the team is staggering, and you have the balls to write that ?
  22. Excellent post. Blasphemous, of course...
  23. And the difference in performance from Norwich compared to Wycombe/Exeter/Brentford/Tranmere ?
