  1. Tell me, have you heard of a crime known as "behaviour likely to result in a breach of the peace" ? The line between freedom of speech and breach of the peace/inciting a riot is an extremely fine one. And the police come down on it on the wrong side all the time, imo. Just for reference, I reckon the police behaviour was RIGHT on Saturday and WRONG in the case of the Derby game
  2. What about the bloke who someone had estimated has taken 3million out of the club, including a big severance pay-off in 2006, and whose name is STILL conspicuous in its absence from the 1000+ list ? Oh...
  3. If we had to have one of the old crowd associated with the club and board still, I choose Crouch by a mile. I just wouldnt give him the PR/media role.. I would rather none were involved, but I suspect it aint going to turn out like that.
  4. Are you really surprised ? This is entirely consistent with policing policy in the UK. The same sort of policy that allowed a group of 20-odd scumbag Muslims in Brentford to roundly abuse a regiment of UK soliders returning exhausted (and with missing comrades) from a tour of duty in Afghanistan whilst the majority crowd got piissed of with it, and in the end they arrested members of the fed-up majority and protected the extremist sh*t-stirrers.
  5. And I repeat my answer : choosing b) will lead to a) anyway.
  6. You are really chuffed that you had an excuse to write "FCUM", arent you ?
  7. I sense a diversionary tactic in play. I really wonder how many PR plants are on here.
  8. Just had a look on e-bay, no Pompey teeth yet only Megalodon or Spindlosaurus teeh.
  9. My farts float on the breeze, Dunc, but they aint buying SFC. Cant you be a little less cryptic ?
  10. People dont moan and argue about things they simply dont care about.
  11. Burnley have gone up a mile in my estimate.
  12. When you ask someone to answer a question about their personal perspective about something, you are asking for their opinion I answered the question with my opinion. Sorry you dont understand that..
  13. I am not familiar with the finer points of the Luton case. Is it really true that the club were clobbered with more points deduction because of dodgy financial transactions of people no longer at the club ?
  14. Head tells me yes. Heart tells me it would never be the same. :-(
  15. Nope. Its called having an OPNION. Life is not black-and-white, however the intellectually limited try to portray it.
  16. I have said on here in the past that Lowe could probably do a decent job in a Peter Kenyon at Chelsea - type role, maybe under Tom Scott, but we all know that Lowe wouldnt be satisfied with that...
  17. Yes. He has no money and no-one is daft enough to back him with his track record.
  18. IF it were to happen, it has to be with a long, long-term plan. He has to prove to the fans that he is interested in the football team and not the quarterly results - with words AND deeds. He has an AWFUL lot of respect to earn back...And it aint going to be easy..
  19. Wow, deja vu re the Burley Years and the Dutch Revolution..
  20. Apart from his mates such as Tom Scott (according to rumours). As I said, friendship will only take somebody so far where money is concerned. I dont reckon it will happen anywhere apart from in Lowe's mind, myself, but it looks like he will try to never let go of the club.
  21. Moi ? Wrong ? Reckon you need to go back and look at some predictions / opinions I expressed properly (if you can read, that is..)
  22. None whatsoever. New buyers will not be liable for this missing money. Its more of a criminal investigation (potentially)..
  23. Go for Lowe and you will end up with both anyway. Two for the price of one. I have to question the sanity of any consortium backer that would support Lowe after his track record of destruction at this club. I am beginning to think that going out of business may be the only way he will release his grip on the club.
