  1. Come off it, that story was always a turkey. I am sure the lad himself has aspirations of playing at Arsenal. But was it ever a real prospect ? Wenger is quite happy to splash the cash and bring in youngsters and bring them through himself if they have REAL prospect. the whole set up with him at Saints doesnt make sense. Only Saints players in recent years to spend more time on the treatment table are Idiotkez and Powell.
  2. Yep, I reckoned admin was the best way for this club to sort out its ills in the long term. Still do... Maybe you should go and look up the difference between administration and liquidation...
  3. So what ? That was about 15months ago. Before Lowe went and got in three usless Dutch coaches and one useless Dutch advisor, piissed off two other coaches and then put them on gardening leave and paid out over a million for Augustin Delgado....er...Morgan Schneidelin...
  4. Two words : Roman Abrahmovic
  5. Yes, the club is the most important thing No, he isnt doing anything to help. Putting aside his awful track record of appointing managers, which has ultimately probably cost the clubs its existence, he has a woeful track record of attracting investment or a buyer, considering his supposed City contacts and "reputation"...
  6. Another call in the Echo today from Lymmington for the fans to get behind the team and get down to SMS. A wall of silence emanates from the Cotswolds and Jersey....
  7. Dont be daft :-(
  8. You bring the baby oil, I'll bring the family-sized tub of vanilla yoghurt.
  9. Definitely bad. The 36 teams will be chosen on current merit, which means we will be outside it and due to limited promotion and relegation, we will STAY outside of it. Unlike Smirking_Saint, I can see this happening. Not the Rangers & Celtic bit, UEFA and FIFA wont like it and if they are seen being weak about this, the next logical step is the Europaean Super League and the end of football and the national associations as we know it. They will have to make a stand. But definitely the rest of it. The question is, is it really bad for English football ? The TV coverage and money pot will be extended from 20 teams to 36 teams, meaning a securer future for more teams and a dilution of the power of the big 4.
  10. Werent we talking about "fresh starts" after the shock of relegation from the Premiership ???
  11. Nope, I really believe that you dont understand it..
  12. I remember back in May last year some people, including me, saying on here that Lowe could have a clean slate, but that he needs to demonstrate a willingness to learn from his previous stint, and that his decision relating to NP would demonstrate that. He did what we expected, and true to form got rid of NP. And the club is dead because of that one decision. I hope NP is enjoying his success tonight, he deserves it. I also hope he is thanking his lucky stars that he didnt hang around to be f**ked about by Lowe.
  13. What do you mean "had you" ?
  14. I was born in Southampton I was raised in Southampton I intend to ultimately snuff it in Southampton If someone asks me where I am from, I say Southampton Southampton is where the plane that saved the world from tryranny was built, by the hands of Southamptoners Southampton is the place where the crew of a certain ship hailed from that died in their hundreds whilst saving the lives of women and children Southampton is the place where a certain little-known football club hailed from that used to take great pleasure in sticking a middle finger up at and embarassing big rich footballs clubs from London and Northern Monkey Land I am proud of my association with Southampton, and as a result I could not give a flying f**k in which league the club with the name containing the word "Southampton" plays in, I will continue to moan and slag off the manager, the players and the owner after every shiite performance.
  15. Oh, DO WAKE UP AND TUNE INTO REALITY FM, FOR F**KS SAKE...
  16. The lads really took a leaf out of Ronaldo's book today, didnt they Mr. Wotte ?
  17. Yep. I wonder if we any of us had an inkling of what was coming when Strachan drove away from Staplewood that day ???
  18. You know who you are. All those of you being "balanced" and being "financially astute" I couldnt give a shiit if I get infracted. 124 years of history is coming to an end because of that c**t Lowe, his greed for power and his utter incompetence and interfering.
  19. Yep. Spot on.
  20. A relegation thoroughly deserved, I have to say...
  21. So, seeing as Varney's goal was blatantly offside, is this you concern coming true ???
  22. How ironic. Leicester under Pearson go one way, Saints under Pootvillet and Wotte go the opposite way...
  23. And Mr. Fence wants facts to support opinion, rather than emotion... Well, here goes.... The appointment of Stuart Gray 2 years later... The appointment of Steve Wigley 3 years later... The appointment of Jan Poortvillet What does these monumental f**k-ups all have in common ??? Come on Fencey, it aint hard...
  24. What a truly pathetic excuse. We WERE a reasonably big club with plenty of resources until Lowe decided to play the "3 managers a season" game. And the most bizarre thing is that he repeated the SAME shiit this season. Even imbeciles learn from their mistakes...
