  1. Sad to be missing the first home game.........
  2. Please see post slighty above. I suspect the new board-room mouthiness to prop up the share price in the short-term after the board room change "we're in a mess because of the last board, but we are going to sort it out with tough decisions" has weakened our position at the transfer negotiation table.
  3. I wouldnt. In fact, I think your post is ridiculous.
  4. We allowed our predicament out into the public domain about need to cut costs and wages JP was permitted to state very publicly which players had no future and could go. Is it hardly any surprise that we are not getting the fees or sales we planned for ? Other clubs see us and our weakness coming. Its been mis-managed. The cuts are going to be deeper than the worst any of us feared. I am doing this because the club is being further wrecked by the current activity; this will postpone administration, not prevent it. And I hardly think my comments are going to effect the clubs fortunes or hinder the "cause"
  5. Agreed. DAvies can play to the whistle and not get involved in fisticuffs with his goalkeeper.
  6. Flog everything with a pulse, with projected fees included. Only some of the players like Skacel, and other clubs arent playing ball, so we are loaning them out in a panic.
  7. I'll ignore the personal abuse, but this post is utter f**king crap. Crouch loaned out Skacel and Rasiak last season when the state of the finances became apparent, and he didnt go and hide in Canada on a fishing trip. The bank would not have allowed Crouch to do nothing - so drop the petty personality ******.
  8. This a good post, and may have hit the nail on the head. If it is true, this suggests to me further mis-management of Southampton Football Club by Rupert Lowe, since it indicates his much-vaunted business plan presented to the bank was a complete fairy-tale not worth the paper it was written on.............
  9. Yep. Watch McGoldrick go to the first club that enquires after him
  10. Been making this point for days........
  11. Maybe you'd better consider that possibility then......
  12. I'll repeat what I wrote on another thread : I reckon that the exodus appears to be gathering such a pace, that administration may happen before the end of the season anyway. This is beginning to look like panic activity. Maybe its simply too f**king late - have you thought of that ?

  14. Pity you cannot make a single point without abuse, isnt it ?
  15. Yeah, cos there's no way he will be sold, is there ?
  16. You have to say, Lowe has played a blinder - again. Wait until the football has started again, everyone has got excited and distracted, then offload all the talent the club has.
  17. Reckon you are right - Lowe has no intention of trying to bring Premiership football back to St. Marys.
  18. Considering the sky is about to fall in tomorrow with the sale of Andrew Davies, it looks to me like this news item was repeated simply because they need something to cushion the blow and nothing else was available.
  19. This news doesnt surprise me in the slightest. As I said earlier, no-one is safe from being sold. Lowe will accept any bid for any player he deems reasonable. I wonder if Davies "recovery from injury" has been taking longer than expected for a reason......... The reaactions on here are fascinating, and take one of three forms: 1. Told-you-sos 2. People who up till now who were basically saying "In Lowe We Trust", who have simply forgotten the nature of the man over the past 2 years but have now had a rude re-awakening 3. The bizarrest of the lot considering Killer's fragile situation, that claim "We dont need Andrew Davies anyway", just to toe the party line... Whichever, I hope some of you have woken up to the fact that Division 1 football next season is a real prospect. But never mind, as long as the books balance for 5minutes this season, eh ????????????
  20. I really despair at the inability to read on here sometimes, like a 13 year-old doing a SATS test.... I reflected on how his "soreness" comments sounded like deja vu from his last relapse, and expressed my concern that maybe this was another such relapse, thats all. I never claimed ITK.
  21. Great news, really pleased for him and the club. Also very relieved that his "soreness" is just that. Hope the morale boost this brings feeds through the team and we win tomorrow.
  22. I must admit, seeing as it must have been you who switched the light off on the Southampton Burley Fan Club after everyone else had left that you pessimissm is surprising...
  23. Aye. Some serious cherry-picking of facts is going on around this story.
  24. OK, well I am pleased that the sense of deja vu is misplaced on this occasion.
