  1. I personally dont care if he beleives the hype, its quite funny watching him working himself up into a lather over it. I do, however, object to the patronising "flat cap" comments.
  2. If you mean I am not going to spend several hundred pounds to return without confidence that I am going to watch a decent performance and a result, then yes, you are right.
  3. That quote was a repetition of what I said on the "What will you do if we win at Cardiff" thread, when others were going on about masturbation.l And beating Exeter is a reasonable result, not a great one. I will come if we beat Birmingham - I'll extend my commitmment.
  4. No, I said I'd come if we beat Cardiff. And cut out the baiting.
  5. Defeat.
  6. Why are we f**king bothering with him at all then ?
  7. So the PLC chairman is on holiday at the start of the season when the team are finding their feet and transfer activity is reaching its peak ? Superb timing, and further evidence of his priorities..
  8. Strange. The very post you quoted infers the opposite.
  9. Must be an impostor. Didnt finish his post with his signature "COYR"
  10. Excellent point, sir.
  11. The reason they werent there is that neither of them could be bothered with such a long trip on a mid-week evening. Considering Lowe lives in the West Country, that is shocking. I expressed my pleasure at our first competitive win under JP last night, but I'll reserve the right to continue to say things as I see them, thanks. And you should watch out with the baiting - I am led to believe the mods are going to be much tougher this time round.
  12. Turning up for matches is the ONLY way Lowe and Wilde can convince the fan base that they care about on-field events, rather than protecting their assets. As such, it would be the quickest way (possibly the only way) to reach some sort of rappaproachment with the fan base. Lowe and behold, they dont bother...... The message is clear....
  13. Shhhhh !!! If you dare to suggest in these parts that anchoring your entire midfield round an 18 year-old is even slightly risky, you get accused of being negative, get taken the p*ss out of, and get put on peoples ignore lists to a fanfare accompanyment !!!
  14. Ouch. That's a goodie...
  15. I've read this thru a few times now, and on reflection see what you are driving at, but cannot agree. I could list a number of events that lead to our downfall, but I am sure you know them as well as I. Maybe other clubs chairmen made their own brand of f**k-ups too, and the supporters of those clubs think they are tossers too? Personally, I dont care either way - I support Saints.
  16. Wonder if either of them will make it up to Doncaster ?
  17. I voted for no goalmusic. This is football, not ice-hockey.
  18. Exeter on a mid-week evening ? Not sexy enough, is it ?
  19. Erm, I seem to recall he wasnt Chairman and CEO at that time. Your comments seem to be getting more odd by the day...
  20. No, my point (as you well know, I suspect), is that we suffered unnecessarily. I have never said we have suffered worse, or that we had some divine right not to be put in that position.
  21. I think its a concentration thing, which is directly related to fitness. Give them a couple more weeks, and hopefully this phenomenon will disappear. All signs are that Poortvillet takes fitness more seriously than Burley did.
  22. Another dig........
  23. Oh, for heavens sake.........
  24. It makes all the difference !! CB is saying that it is par-for-the-course, and its nothing special that it happened to us. I am saying that's nonsense, it wouldnt have happened without Lowe's helping hand.
  25. Good result, hopefully confidence well up for Saturday. I hope Killer is OK...........
