  1. This annoys me too, the UK (only 10% of scots) has spent billions on renewable energy and oil exploration of the north sea and now Alex Salmond wants it all for Scotland. What gives him the option of picking and choosing when to leave. It funny how this happened on the back of a time when the UK has massive debt (which Scottish banks played a major role). Never heard Alex Salmond talking about Scottish debt only the UKs
  2. I have no problem with the scots at all and if they want independance then they should have it, but don't see why this should be at the expensive of the English, welsh and northern Irish. Unfortunately I feel Alex Salmond would want the UK to pay for this and not take hardly any responsibility for the UKs huge debt. It annoys me how Alex Salmond can make all this noise about Scotland this and Scotland that in a Scottish parliament where as if someone on TV mentions anything in favour of the English there seems to be an over cry in Scotland even though there are 10 times more English than scots. If the Shetlands do go with scotland and it all goes pear shaped, I hope Scotland we be happy to pay for the Shetlands to leave them if the people of those islands vote to join the UK again. I also hope not one scot will have any say on this and they bring back any oil and natural resource with them.
  3. I don't want Scotland independent but if they do then it has to be done fairly. It will no doubt cost a lot to do, so will it be the 6m scots paying for that who voted yes or the 58m who are left in the UK who didn't vote? Will all Scottish companies remain Scottish and bring their wealth with them? ALex Salmond will of course say yes. Will they then except that RBS and HBOS are Scottish and take on all their debt too....I think not! I really dont want to pay a shed load of tax paying for Scotland to be independent, not bringing a fair proportion of THIER debt with them and then saying how much money they will make from THEIR natural resources.
  4. I had the exact same idea as it could get very tactical with choices whether to take off defenders or attackers etc. would be great to watch and would really make players work. This should be done after 90 mins not after extra time as players would become seriously tired! It might even make teams try harder to win it in 90 mins if they have used all their subs early on and all their players are knackered for example. Quite often we see teams just playing out the 90 Mins or extra time to get to the next stage.
  5. Just need 46 points this season to overtake boro.
  6. Imagine if you were owed £1M. This would turn into 4k. How pi ssed off would you be!
  7. So if someone was owed £50k then if this was reduced to £10k from CVA1 then this will be reduced to £200 after CVA2. If that was me I'd happily risk losing £200 and tell them where to shove the second CVA.
  8. Harry talking about the chelsea job in March. "Chelsea job not for me" http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/video/2012/mar/06/harry-redknapp-chelsea-manager-job-video Can't see Harry not speaking the truth to the media.......
  9. Lots of managers seem to be on the verge of moving rodgers, lambert, harry....can't be a bad thing for us.
  10. The more I think about this, it could be true. No champions league for Harry, therefore not as much money available. Time to leave! Harry is only happy when he is spending other peoples money!
  11. Maybe Chelsea want Bale? If Roman is waving money then HR will come.
  12. Or he is waiting to see if the deal he's working on to bring someone in comes off. A few quality signings certainly help ticket sales.
  13. Heard his kids are saints fans.
  14. Unfortunately if he was still 26 and not injury prone then he would be well out of our price range and would only want a big club. This is the only way to get someone as good as him for free. Big risk but if it pays off he could do very well for us.
  15. Quality what is NA waiting for?
  16. Iknow he's already been mentioned but SSN just said Owen Hargreaves is still looking for a club. High wages but free. Would be a great signing if he can stay injury free. B Munich fans rated him far higher than manu/citeh or England ever did.
  17. I agree that Gordon may be better on his day than McGregor but he doesn't have many injury free days does he? Gordon would demand huge wages if he comes on a free and thats a huge risk to have someone on big wages who might not play many matches. Rangers are in trouble so need to sell players so we might get McGregor cheap and the wages should be much lower than Gordons.
  18. What about Samir Handanovic? Very good by all accounts and only 27 (but that might put him out of our price range)
  19. IF we don't go for youth then I really think Allan McGregor would be worth a punt from Rangers. Would be great competition for Kelvin and a more than adequate stand in if he gets injured. British and ranked 37th in the world rankings below: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/813292-50-best-goalkeepers-in-the-world-football/page/15
  20. You watch the phew come out and say they don't want BC. They don't get that their club is worthless and nobody could possibly want to buy them unless they need money washed or those who need to get their money out of the club.
  21. Yes could be the best outcome. Keep them until the PPs run out then leave them to rot. Liquidation would be the only option then as they would still owe loads. This prolongs the suffering and embarrassment.
  22. NC to RB - ha I bet you didn't think we'd do the double over you and knock you out of the cup.
  23. I just hope if they do get their debts diluted further they are hit with a 15+ points deduction. This should at least make sure they stay in L1 long enough for all possible PPs to be used up. What will probably happen though is they will get their debt reduced, chinny will give them enough funds to blow the other L1 teams away with their spending, gaining them promotion. Chinny will then try to sell a club on the rise and the supporters will be saying how great they are beating all the odds to bounce straight back with one eye back on the Prem.
  24. This will happen and the 2010 CVA will be diluted. The only question remains is what will the FL do about it.
