Yeah at least if he accepted the over the top challenge i'd have more acceptance of him claiming a penalty for the rashford(throw his leg at Bazanu) appeal. But the whole he's never been sent off in europe ergo he's innocent logic beggars belief.

Good performance but feels like a big missed opportunity against 10 men. Our lack of finishing (outside of JWP free kicks) is a massive achilles heel.
-
Really don't understand against 10 men why we wouldn't want to utillise an aerial threat.
-
Why are we bringing on those 2 rather than Onachu?
-
Good first half. Frustrating that we haven't taken the opportunities we've had (Sulemana not cutting the ball back, walcott header etc), though we've had our moments where we've relied on bazanu or united to muck up Really hate some of these united players. Fernandes trying to get a penalty after KWP won the ball twice. Amazed Shaw didn't get booked for that nasty assuault on Walcott afterwards. Would like to see tall paul on soon.

Not saying i've trenedous faith in AMN but he's been pretty decent at FB last few games. Personally think Perraud's very limited. His recent form has been atrocious too. Hopefully being dropped will result in a good reaction from Perraud.
-
Is AMN injured? Can't say i've much confidence in a defence featuring Bazanu, Bednarek and Perraud

If we somehow stay up hopefully we could keep him and offer him assurances. If we go down i can't see a situation other than us selling him to a prem club(most likely Burnley). We may have him under contract but keeping a very unhappy player isn't always a wise move.

Looking like a bad week for Us Bournemoth win, Everton winning.

No presenters might be an improvement. Can sort of understand the BBC position, having a major face of the bbc making political interventions when you've made a big deal that rest of staff can't do that. Maybe time for bbc move on from Lineker and get someone cheaper inhouse to do the job and Gary can fully transition to commercial tv.
-
Surprised it took this long for the BBC to pull him to be honest.

Maybe a stupid question but what happens with re-arranged games if you had a ticket for the original game? -
Fair enough. I view forest game, alongside palace and Bournemouth as our best hopes for wins.
-
Do find some of your results very odd. Our away form is better than our home, yet you have us getting no more points away from home this season despite playing strugglers such as West Ham and Forest. At home you've got us beating the team in 4th but getting worse results against 5th, 7th and 9th.

If Alcaraz is out as expected, i hope it's S.Armstrong rather than Elyounessi for him. As always i'd prefer Salisu to Bednarek.
-
They haven’t got particularly nice home games in my opinion, outside of wolves and us. i was maybe slightly partisan in putting saints down for a draw in their easiest home game

Moving into a coaching position is different to extending a player contract. He put in hard work yesterday for the team but still wouldn't say he was impressive. He's got nowhere near the pace he once had and he has never been a good finisher, as evidenced by his weak effort yesterday. Just as we didn't extend an ageing past it Shane Long despite him still putting a shift in we shouldn't be doing so with Walcott.
-
In no way should his contract get extended.

See motd suggesting alcaraz should have been sent off. I just don’t see it at all. -
He played Ok but I don't know feels to me more case of us going backwards losing (Redmond and Tella), than an indian summer.

On the line he has better odds of saving it than a failed superman audition. There's no way Mccarthy gets that same credit for missing a cross. -

Really, Is that a real technique come out and deliberately vacate the goal with the hope that it will put the opposition player off putting the ball in the empty net. -
I just look at him and fail to understand how he keeps getting minutes. No matter how bad he plays he back on the pitch the next game. Guess there must be some feeling that technically he's a striker so if we put him on the wing he may inadvertadently score.

There were moments today he was solid. There were also moments where he was very poor.
