Do we think England will enforce the follow-on, if it comes to that? Aus need 66 more to avoid it at time of writing.

And there goes Agar. What a disaster

Although this is the 3rd time in 3 that we've got cheaply into the tail. Let's hope we can finish the job this time.

I had to double-check with the radio. Conclusion: sussexsaint is a witch.

Aussies have ****ed their reviews up the wall again. I don't like the DRS particularly, but it's there and England are definitely making much better use of it.

Ooh yes! Bye bye Clarkey...

That's a sharp catch to get Smith. Ian Bell continuing to have a good series, and Australia up against it. I like this.

I'm watching a slightly dodgy stream of the match, so perhaps someone watching on Sky can tell me if these ladies form part of the official coverage? They pop up every time an England batsman plays a good shot...

And that's 6. Let's hope we get the 300 now.

New ball's just round the corner, so it could still be 6...

Another important, mature ton for Ian Bell. Well played sir.

I like your attitude. Trott and Bell seem to have got themselves comfortably in now. Let's hope that was just an early wobble.

I'm gonna watch the golf

Well they'd certainly built up their tail to compensate for their top order. I'm not sure either Starc or Agar would've got the nod otherwise, purely on bowling ability. I'd actually forgotten how little Broad bowled in the 1st innings. His being fit and able this time round will take some of the pressure off Anderson, but I'd prefer to see Bresnan picked over Finn. If England score as poorly in this test then we simply haven't got the runs to play with to allow for Finn's average. With Bresnan you can be fairly certain he'll hold an end, whilst also hoping he'll contribute a few with the bat. I'm not sure Finn's form is actually all that bad though. He had a terrible session on day 5, but had looked OK before that. He's a bowler who can make unusual things happen, but he's always expensive. For me I'd always take Bresnan or Onions as 3rd quick as you've already got a player who's prone to inconsistency in Stuart Broad - a fine wicket taker on his day, but off it he keeps bowling all that short stuff that costs us. You can't carry two players like that in a 4-man attack. For me the line-up needs someone you can turn to for reliability.

Anyone know what his role at the FA will be? Best wishes to him anyway.

What an extraordinary game that was! I was hating it by the end though. Well played the Aussie last stand, extremely brave effort.

I'm going on about how everyone, the batsman included, knows that that was out. He should have walked. What anyone reckons the Aussies would have done in that situation is irrelevant. It's nothing to do with how well umpires are looked after. It's about being honest.

"Sorry love, I thought you might be going to cheat on me so I slept with your sister. That's why your parents get all these perks." Bull****.
