Depends where she puts the cork. BAM!!

I was talking about his cock and balls.

Far to early to be making these kind of calls, but what the hey... Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Spurs will almost certainly make up the top 4 IMO, and are far stronger than us. Liverpool are going to be a much improved team and will get a decent start. Arsenal need to do something in the market soon as they have only gone backwards so far. I see Saints in a group with Everton, Villa, Swansea, WBA, possibly Sunderland and Norwich too (those are the two I find hardest to predict), nipping at the heels of the Europa places. As adriansfc says, there'll be a lot of luck involved in that mini-league. Can't see much from the promoted sides, Stoke will go backwards under Hughes, I want to say West Ham will have a poor season, but that's not a confident prediction.

But never any in your posts. Do you speak in short-hand? Curious!

Why are we not giving Sharp a chance?
dinger replied to Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd's topic in The Saints
It's enough for me to know that neither of the managers we've had in the Prem have thought him good enough, and they've seen him play/train more than any of the rest of us. Also, and more knowledgeable people will correct me if I'm wrong, wouldn't 'giving Sharp a chance' necessitate giving him a squad place? That would make it a considerably bigger gamble. -
How expensive would football need to become before you wouldn't watch Saints?
dinger replied to kwsaint's topic in The Saints
I had to pretty much stop after we got promoted to the Prem. Can only really foresee my going a couple of times this term. It's a shame, but that's all I can really justify. -
I really wouldn't worry, TBH. It's not going to be any worse for your child than someone having a cigarette next door. If they were doing it in the same room it would be an issue. It's certainly not worth kicking up a fuss with your neighbours about IMO. If you're worried about any kind of narcotic effect that just isn't going to happen in the open air. So the only issue I can see is having a discussion around what the smell is, and at 2 years old that's probably something you can work around.

A bit of nostalgic Charlies after hearing Jon Brookes has died...
-
It's happening! We're into the tail now. Although Haddin's quite capable of batting all day...
-
Now Smith gone as well. This is a cracking match.
-
And really useful knocks from Bresnan and Swann at the end here. It's going to be a tight finish, I reckon.
-
Genuine LOL at Steve Smith there. Maybe if he hadn't done a little jig he wouldn't have looked so foolish...
-
Balls. KP's gone. That changes/ruins everything.

Ambient Works 1 changed everything for me about the way I listened to music. As did Discreet Music, mentioned by HS above. I'll probably have to point out at this juncture: Autechre - Tri Repetae Oval - 94 Diskont
-
Yes again, HS! I checked out that Riley/Cale collaboration you told me about. It's quite something.

Oh yes! The Pet Shop Boys are never given the credit they deserve. And the Twin is, cos he's ****ing brilliant.

I've been having quite a mono-maniacally bleepy weekend and it's inspired me to ask: what are the great albums of electronic music? Not necessarily dance albums, just records made predominantly with machines. Here's a few of my suggestions, tell me yours... Orbital - Snivilisation Alva Noto - Transform Cluster - Zuckerzeit Boards of Canada - Geogaddi

Trott and Cook really owe their team an innings now. Very poor dismissals. Trott's was telegraphed from the start.
-
Having a Mouse On Mars weekend.
-
A couple of important early wickets there. If we can get through the tail promptly this has the makings of an exciting match.
-
Exactly, the whole notion of it is ludicrous and an obvious sour grapes fabrication by a bitter Aussie media outlet. It reflects well on the Aussie team that they've distanced themselves from the allegations.

Very similar to the OP really. When I was a kid I would watch any sport and be gripped by it, glued to Grandstand/World of Sport every Saturday. In my mid/late-teens I was going through a socialist, pretend to be working class phase and convinced myself that only football was real sport. These days I'm comfortable admitting that test cricket is the pinnacle of sporting endeavour. And I'm back to watching any sport that I can, I just love a contest, although I still can't get my head around rugby (either code). In fact as time goes by I find myself more drawn to watching slow stuff like cricket, golf, snooker, bowls, stuff you can switch your mind down a few gears to. But the three where I actually support a team are: Football - Saints (obviously) Cricket - England/Hants American Football - Dolphins Everything else it's just fun to see people who are good at a thing trying to be better than the other people doing a thing.

Aye, it's standard practice as far as I know. So, not 30-3 this time. That makes a refreshing change...
