  1. Not sure on the pronunciation but this is fitting
  2. With the takeover complete id like the new owners to bring in gylfi as a welcome gift. That would be a great way to show us their ambition for the club
  3. Lacking that creative midfielder. Just give Clement the £40 million for gylfi after the game
  4. I'd much prefer a 10, we have some quality out wide already, I'd even include Bertrand and Cedric in that. VVD and Long out Gylfi and Davinson Sanchez in That would be a top window and financially viable as the money out would be about the same as the sales of those two, but it won't happen.
  5. Van Dijk --- Luiz --- Cahill A formidable back 3 if he ends up there
  6. I think this is the general feeling for most fans. How can we expect our best players to commit when the last few years have seen mass exodus. The only way to keep hold of van dijk is to show the intent to push on. Spend decent money on a couple of crucial first team players such as gylfi and van dijk may well be swayed, even if only for another season. Come on les ffs!
  7. We currently sit at 33/1 to bring in gylfi. If him being spotted turns out to be genuine there is some serious money to be made here
  8. I would disagree, played at a club that has been threatened with relegation the last couple of seasons, while we have consistently finished in the top 10. £45 million in this market is a good price in my eyes for a player that could take us to the next level, he's what we've been crying out for. I'd be happy if we signed nobody else and added gylfi.
  9. Three in quick succession. That kit on the other hand is god awful
  10. Hopefully this is to sweeten a deal for Josh Murphy
  11. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/12691/10929681/southampton-to-keep-virgil-van-dijk-and-cedric-soares-after-agreement-with-mauricio Let's hope this is the case. It would be nice to have one window where we hold onto our best players and add some quality rather than replace them.
  12. Thats koeman
  13. Koeman is the thief
  14. Huddersfield at home
  15. That away kit is
  16. Sibley hasn't posted saying they're done for the evening.. #clutchingatstraws
  17. Do they still have that silly rule where if some papers are in by 11pm you get the extra hour to tie the deal up? We need that now massievly
  18. Sakho has gone to Palace then..
  19. Where have you seen that?
  20. How much would Lascelles cost from Newcastle?
  21. Hull seem hellbent on disbanding their squad. We should of just spent 10 million on Harry Maguire
  22. I think if we were both in we would be the more attractive option. The longer this drags on we could get him for around £15mil which isn't bad business. The main issue is wages though.
  23. I have a horrible feeling we are going to be very underwhelmed come 11pm.
  24. Italian clubs allowed 12 subs By Adam Digby, Italian Correspondent Clubs in Serie A will be name as many as 12 substitutes, with the measure taking effective immediately, after lobbying from a number of key figures. The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) announced the rule change on Tuesday night following a formal request from the Serie A president Maurizio Beretta. It means clubs competing in Serie A, Coppa Italia, Italian Super Coppa or Primavera league matches will be permitted the extra reserves. One of the strongest advocates of the move was the Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis, who spoke to Sky Italia shortly after the announcement. "I thank the international and national organisations that have introduced this rule of absolute common sense," he said. "I made the proposal while ago because I thought it was important to give more choice to the coaches for changes during games, but also because it was unfair to send called up players to the stands as it threatened to see their value plummet. It proves it is not impossible to change the world of football, but we have stood still for too long." His thoughts were echoed by the Palermo president Mauricio Zamparini, who said his club "have two players for every role, so we can only benefit from this new development". However, Roma coach Zdenek Zeman told Corriere dello Sport: "It doesn't change much for me, as in my experience a total squad of 18 is sufficient."
