BBC Sport: Southampton have admitted Manchester United are interested in signing Senegal winger Sadio Mane. Strange choice of word seeing as it has only emerged in the last hour or so. We signed Pelle three days shy of his 29th Birthday for a large sum and that didn't work out too bad.

As mouth watering as a midfield three of Wanyama, Clasie and Suarez sounds I can't see this one being a starter. Juanmi following him IMO is nothing but a coincidence and according to TMR his wage is around £55k a week. Even if we were to chase Suarez the media exposure on the deal would only end up with a champions league club swooping in and taking any deal to us off the cards. I'd love to be proven wrong though.
