  1. Really like the look of Douglas Luiz at Villa. Tenacious, good at breaking up play, quickly closes down the opposition. Only 22, was bought for £15m last summer so I imagine his stock has increased some what. This could price us out of any deal, but would certainly be an upgrade on an ageing Romeu.

  3. Transfermarket values him at 7.2m, so certainly not a bargain buy/loan as many expected
  4. Guan and K Billy's noticeable absence on here today is quite telling, obviously nothing on the cards. Complete trust in Ralph to see this through, I just hope injuries don't come back to bite us.
  5. Reading between the lines...
  6. Smith Rowe gone to Leipzig. JKA free to leave now?
  7. Get him in Ralph
  8. For north of £15mil I'd rather we just went for JKA. Worked under hassenhuttl, natural finisher with skill and pace and likely to make us more money in the long run when inevitably solder to the scousers. Yes, he would be a record signing but I'd be happy with just him in this window. JKA, Redmond and Ings is a mouth watering prospect.
  9. Clear penalty at the end! Inga, Moi, Vestergaard and Redmond all played very well. Must play with 4 at the back from now on, different side after changing.
  10. I never mentioned Blackmore, I said peach never stated what you "claimed" he had said. This was also posted early this morning, a lot can change throughout the day. I'm off to rejoin the optimists who have an interest in seeing the club do well rather than you pessimists who would get off seeing us crash and burn.
  11. Peach never stated no incomings, he said it was quiet with the window coming to a close. If arsenal were to offer a player of welbecks ability about the club would at least entertain it, or at least one should hope they would.
  12. Only 12 months left on his deal, he would be reasonably priced I imagine. Just can't see us being able to afford wages unless Forster goes. Here's to hoping, a great window if we bring in welbeck
  13. Zero fight in that second half, players can't be assed. If that isn't a message to the board they've also lost faith in him then we deserve to go down
  14. 5 points to Bournemouth in 9th and 6 points to West brom in 20th. So many teams are taking points off each other. There could be some real shocks for relegation. Swansea were written off 5 games ago and now they've just taken 7 points when they probably predicted to get 1 at most. This is going to be a really interesting end to the season. Just a shame we're involved in it.
  15. He gave an interview post match to sky (score centre app) didn't rule out signings before the deadline but he looked defeated. He must surely go but how many times have we said this and the chuckle brothers don't seem to take notice.
  16. He doesn't seem to be in a rush to make his flight
  17. I'll take perisic
  18. Surely if the clause actually exists and it is the 35 million quoted spartak have no say. So either it is higher, we haven't met the 35 but have agreed to between the £25million and £30 million to activate the clause or it just doesn't exist. Surely it must be the latter as for the sake of a couple of million we could get him now.
  19. I wonder if Leicester reject this 'final' mahrez bid if he would come in for Redmond. He supposedly wants cover due to sane being out for 6 weeks.
  20. Everton now trying so sign mangala on loan. BFS doesn't seem to like Michael Keane. HCDAJFU?
  21. Of course they have. But deadline day is a strange one. Putting pressure on and leaking to the media your interest can unsettle the player. Every other team does it why shouldn't we?
  22. If this is dead in the water we should move on. I'd be looking at pushing Fulham on sessegnon or dembele from Celtic. However window after window it seems more and more like Les always has his eggs in one basket and 90% of the time we miss out. This window we can't afford to.
