Hull seem hellbent on disbanding their squad. We should of just spent 10 million on Harry Maguire -

I think if we were both in we would be the more attractive option. The longer this drags on we could get him for around £15mil which isn't bad business. The main issue is wages though. -

I have a horrible feeling we are going to be very underwhelmed come 11pm. -
Italian clubs allowed 12 subs By Adam Digby, Italian Correspondent Clubs in Serie A will be name as many as 12 substitutes, with the measure taking effective immediately, after lobbying from a number of key figures. The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) announced the rule change on Tuesday night following a formal request from the Serie A president Maurizio Beretta. It means clubs competing in Serie A, Coppa Italia, Italian Super Coppa or Primavera league matches will be permitted the extra reserves. One of the strongest advocates of the move was the Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis, who spoke to Sky Italia shortly after the announcement. "I thank the international and national organisations that have introduced this rule of absolute common sense," he said. "I made the proposal while ago because I thought it was important to give more choice to the coaches for changes during games, but also because it was unfair to send called up players to the stands as it threatened to see their value plummet. It proves it is not impossible to change the world of football, but we have stood still for too long." His thoughts were echoed by the Palermo president Mauricio Zamparini, who said his club "have two players for every role, so we can only benefit from this new development". However, Roma coach Zdenek Zeman told Corriere dello Sport: "It doesn't change much for me, as in my experience a total squad of 18 is sufficient."

1/10 on Sky Bet now

Give them £15mil, he's essentially half price, wages could be an issue though. What is clear is we must sign a replacement this window to partner Virgil. Yoshi is a backup at best.
-
This! He's made his bed in my opinion. If we can get sakho half price on the right wage him and Virgil would be a formidable CB pairing!
-
Have until midnight for international deals as long as the papers were in before 11
-
Morgan on loan and Berahino on a perm and this window will be much improved. Come on les get your chequebook and quill out
-
If we don't get any first team quality in this has been a poor poor window. A minimum of an extra 6 games this season in Europe and we are no where near as strong as the team we had last year. Will be lucky to finish top half this year once puel exhausts the diamond which clearly doesn't suit the current clientele at the club. Very unoptimistic about this season, was our chance to push on this year with the increased tv revenue.

Lallana success since no? I think the blokes a prat but he is a regular international starter and other than coutinho arguably liverpools best player in the last 12 months.
-
He has averaged less than 17 games in his last 4 seasons with almost 30% of those substitute appearances. The guy is a crock with a poor attitude. I still can't understand the massive hype around him even up to the euros. He has done nothing of note in years.
-
Huge wage to sit on the injury table all season, no thanks. Would much prefer chamberlain back, preferably on a permenant basis though.

5pm announcement? Come on Guan where's that smilie!?

Always seem to get palace or bloody Sunderland
-
@SkySports - BAGGIES WANT J-ROD Sky sources are telling us West Brom are interested in taking Southampton's Jay Rodriguez on loan. We understand there have been positive talks between the clubs, and it's thought Southampton are willing to let him go on loan to get more game time. Rodriguez has three years left on his contract at St Mary's and remains part of manager Claude Puel's long term plans. Berahino in on a perm and j-rod on loan, I wouldn't mind that.

True, but Guan wouldn't back him as ITK if his info was false

Didn't see anyone seem to notice AR-10's post on the previous page. Seems more positive after Guan's post earlier
