He does go to press conferences during season I think and in those he might have some "own" stuff, but now offseason he seems just to read things and not have any sources of his own...
-
Dont forget to say that "you´ve been told" stuff....
-
He does....soon.... Tough choice tonight, watch Bueno or JWP....
-
Oh Monk, what did you just do!??
-
Very harsh on him but Cork. Spider and Banega behind Ramirez but they could probably switch places all three. I think Ramirez is underrated in his defensive work. But Cork would get a lot of games too, we need to alternate in CM to keep form over a whole season.
-
Javier Hernandez could easily get a job at Atletico Madrid and maybe even Juventus and clubs like that in Europe.
-
Not watched a lot of Scottish though, only their CL games. I personally has Banega as first choice cause I think we need to add creativity from midfield. Different type of players all three to so hard to compare them. But all three would walk into the first XI imo.
-
easy, this is just cover-up to sign Banega
-
Sounds more like a game Astori had...?
-
I saw someone comment on twitter that he and his friends decided to have a drink every time someone dived in the game. They´re probably well asleep by now...
-
Same back at you. And yes about the foreign leagues, but I dont know squat about the lower leagues in England and therefore stay out when players like Trippier and the likes are discussed. I wouldn´t be able to find any gems in those lower leagues unfortunately.
-
My first choice would be Banega just because of how creative he is. Nainggolan is probably the most consistent of the three at the moment, and Wanyama perhaps the most talented if he keeps progressing.... As you said though, anyone of them would be a great addition for us.
-
Not as long as England is in the top ten.... Seriously, of course not. Just wanted to make a point that we just signed a international from another big country in Europe and in my view Lovren is more sure on his place in Croatia than Osvaldo is in Italy. And we´ve also been heavily linked to Astori. And I´m not sure that is a closed case yet, despite what their chairman has said. It´s a new day, Saints will have possibilities to sign internationals from big countries.
-
Really great player and probably the most consistent of these three. But personally I would choose Banega as my first choice just because how creative he can be. But Nainggolan would also be a great addition for us if he comes.

Stoch from Fenerbache and Bueno from some Uruguayan club so far.
-
Young Alex "being told" stuff again.......just that "being told" for him is "reading on twitter"...
-
Compared to his wages now in Cagliari every offer from us will probably look big. It wont mean that it´s that big for us to pay. He earns €450k/year net + unknown bonuses according to Gazzetta. (and wages are not secrets in Italy but bonuses are)
-
True and if we would´ve been in PL at the time, imagine what they would´ve cost then to buy....
-
Actually not since the player himself seems to confirm it.
-
Born in Argentina, but international for Italy.
-
They just want to show this board that the club can work on more targets at the same time On a serious note, might be that we have a list of who wants the most. Nainggolan was out there first and as long as he hasn´t said yes or no we go on with other targets. But I wouldn´t be surprised if we are looking into 2 midfielders and that one of those can play as AM. We have to get a bit more creativity from midfield IMO.

Italy, 8th on the FIFA rank. Croatia, 4th on the FIFA rank. From what country did we sign a international last week?
-
If anyone is curious about wage levels in Italy. This post is a picture from the Gazzetta, net wages per year in €. And in Italy the wages are not a secret, they are before bonuses though. http://www.bigsoccer.com/community/threads/calciomercato-wages-salaries-2012-2013.1946695/#post-26473614

It´s natural progress and how can we keep players like Luke Shaw at the club in the longterm? By progressing our first team, otherwise they will go. And unfortunately the risk is big that we will lose Luke cause we wont probably progress enough in a year, even though we shall dream about it. And the target to have 50% homegrown players should be looked at as a target in 8-10 years I think. You cant expect to have players coming out of the academy be good enough for premier league every year. Last year we were blessed with two players, Luke and JWP, but we will surely also have years with no players getting into the first team squad and make a contribution. We need patience with this target and hopefully we can come close but at the same time the first team need to progress to keep those players at the club. Do anyone really think all the great players from the academy in Barcelona would have stayed there if they were a midtable team in Spain?
