Of course we should sign him if the option is there, classy player than in a year or two will be worth at least £20m. Surprised there aren´t more rumors surrounding him but will probably start as soon as WC is finished and players are back in Europe...
-
I think it will be an apology from Dejan where he says something like "I was unsure in what direction the club was going when those players left but I can see now with the additions made that the club still have high ambitions and I want to be part of it"... And there will be a silent agreement that he can leave next summer if any clubs come in for him with a £20m-ish bid.
-
Surely mods must see that as a windup attempt from Guan
-
Think that was Osvaldo...?
-
Forster £8m De Vrij £10m (+give away 20% on resell profit and that price is possible) Willems £6m Clasie £10m (+ sell on clause here too) Volland £12m Out: Osvaldo £6m If Lovren leaves take those £25m and get Blind or Van Dijk on board. There you have ambition within reach.

What I don't understand is, who´s the other guy?? A friend of Dejan? Since it´s posted by Dejan it´s a bit weird if he posts a pic with some random fella at the airport...
-
So hands up, how many of us are really really happy to go back to work after a vacation?
-
Why wouldn´t we upgrade a position if the possibility is there? I keep seeing that people saying that CM are our strongest position, but that doesn´t really mean that we are strong in that position imo. As we could see last year as soon one (or both) of Schneiderlin/Wanyama was out.
-
Jordi Clasie is the next one we want, or an LB obviously...
-
So he won't come back for a long time you say?
-
£75m or as Brendan Rogers would say "4 attacking midfielders"
-
Yes, and no. Just heard name been mentioned from a former agent with ties to Scandinavia/Holland/Germany.
-
Yep, waiting for JW to return from WC.
-
The downside is, in Fontes, case his age that if you give him 2 more years but he becomes 4th choice you cant get rid. Pretty much the situation with Hooiveld atm. Pretty sure the club would want to ship him out but if noone out there will match his wages he´s on now we cant do that.
-
Not even mighty Arnautovic? (not that we are linked to him...)
-
The story in the star is called a Crook own goal I guess
-
Yes definitely. I was more pointing out that they are aware of it and are accepting that situation. While I dont think we do it in the same way, just look at threads about Lallana and Lovren is evidence enough....(of course many here also accept that but I think the majority doesn´t)
-
Yes, very unlikely to say the least but talks/rumours around him has stopped and still hard to see that he will stay at Hoffenheim. Started off the season very good but only scored 4 goals after new year.... But yes, I dont think its anything in it unfortunately.
-
Weak source so more wish unfortunately. Source has many connections in Scandinavia and quite a few in Holland, seems to be hearsay from someone in Holland... (former agent working as football director at a club now, been working mostly in Sweden & Denmark and been involved with his agent firm in a few transfers of danish players to Holland/Germany/Belgium a few yrs back)
-
Tbf most teams in Holland are very aware of their place in the football food chain and aren+t deluded about that. They might be disappointed but look at all reactions given to Tadic now, only good luck wishes and praising... They will use the money they get to track down new talents to bring through their league and sell later on for high fees...and are very happy with that.
-
I hear the hold up in the signing of Pelle is due to discussions about a package deal for 2 players with Feyenoord at the same time. Probably Clasie but no names yet....(if it´s him it can't be finished before he´s back from WC)
-
Dont know but dont think that´s too many either. Potential he might have, just think he atm is very average and predictable. And I think a lot of people here are blinded by his performance against us in that one game and hasn´t really watched him a lot last season....
-
Nathan Redmond had 1 goal and 3 assists last year. (23 starts, 11 sub appearances) http://www.whoscored.com/Players/86425/ Imagine the amount of criticism here if we had an attacking midfielder with those stats...(in much fewer games, 3 starts and 15 sub apps.)
-
Well, the type of game in PL with so much crossing into the area is probably quite different to many other leagues though...
