With only 18 month left on his contract now he shouldn´t cost more than £7-8m imo but the chairman of Cagliari is a special kind.....
-
And we didn´t swap him for some other PL manager
-
And look at last year That they got rid of Schwarzer made their average age go down by almost a year... The last time Fulham did NOT have the oldest team put out during a PL season was 09-10 when them with the bestest fans put out their team under Avram Grant. It is an old team with and older fashion of style. Does that mean that they will roll over? Of course not. But it is a game we should win if we want to show that we belong on the upper half and the same can be said of the following two games, anything between 6-9 points out of these three and we´re in it for real.

The only possible ones in january would be Banega or Piatti but Piatti isn´t a number 10 really though but a lovely player if he can come back to his old self before he went to Valencia. Wouldn´t complain at all about Banega but would love to find some younger gem like Fischer or Cabella, but that´s me...

Clearly a story with substance and truth unlike the other they have published lately... http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/southampton-summer-transfer-target-davide-2485020?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

We could go for that Zlatan guy also...
-
Agree but still a class class player, vey good already last year and this year he´s started as one of the best in the league. Sochaux is a really really bad team so wouldn´t compare Montpellier to them even if Montpellier has declined since being champions 11-12.

Nope, all good young players.
-
Very rarely any big transfers is made in january but we could do with a young gun like Viktor Fischer, Remy Cabella, Wahbi Khazri, Quincy Promes or Wijnaldum......
-
Typical Neil Warnock situation...

I think he´s done it quite a few times with his subs. Both JWP and Davis has been used as subs in tactical ways, the one I remember most is Man C at home when he put JWP on the right side to nullify Kolarov that had a great first 10-15 minutes in that second half before JWP came on. Sunderland away was another one. In that Chelsea cup game the biggest change was to set Moses free against our right back (Cork if I remember correctly).

Yep as I said. Good business to sign him up. That post was made after a good game and only one month before he otherwise could start talking to other clubs. His value at the time was too high to risk losing him on a free. 2-3 yrs is not that longterm btw but that´s another discussion.
-
Nothing changed, never said I wanted a longterm contract for him but I think it was good to sign a new deal with him cause otherwise he would leave for free. Good business signing him up, and even though he went out on loan this season I´m sure we will get some money for him later on, or that he might be a squad player. Not sure he´d be happy to be a squad player but I dont see him as a regular starter. I can see clubs offer £2m for him and that´s better than having players leaving on a free, dont you think?

I think that was more of a case of the original 5-yr plan and that it was slightly changed to let Adkins stay on....
-
Not sure about that. If he thinks MP can get us into Europe there is a very small number of managers that would be of higher reputation and those managers probably cost a lot more than Cortese would be willing to pay. Of course it´s a different story if Cortses decides that he cant see MP getting us into Europe though... Just my opinion..

I´m not slatting Puncheon at all, I asked if you can see the reasons to those subs we were talking about. And I´m finding negatives Mr "I-make-my-early-prediction-and-says-Osvaldo-dont-cut-it"....?? I have actually problems finding any negatives around our club at the moment, players we dont need has left (except for some that still are on the payroll) and much better players has arrived, we have the best Manager in the league and also one of the best chairmans possible. What´s to be negative about other than moaning morons on here? But you want to know my opinion of Puncheon? Flatters to decieve and imo very overrated on this board. Not because he isn´t a good player but because some (or a lot of) people on here thinks he´s the secret answer to our attacking. Our system clearly shows that we dont want a player putting his head down and trying to take on 3-4-5 opponents, we want the ball moving between players and therefor Puncheon isn´t suited for it IMO.

I agree. I would love to see Gaston get a run of games together with Osvaldo and Lallana now that we have no injuries in the team, but as you say..... What I saw in the first game against Everton from Gaston tells me he can do that job but probably not as efficient as someone like Davis who I think creates to little for his position... Edit: Unclear sentences...
-
Still my question was to hard for you? You dont see the different reasons for those subs you mentioned?
-
Actually I can´t, maybe you can enlighten me how so I can do better in your eyes?
-
Bad examples matey.... Rooney, Cazorla, Giroud all attacking players subbed when team leading. Wanyama defensive player subbed when team is behind. Puncheon, attacking player subbed when team is behind. You see any difference in those?
-
Honest and humble question. Facts and figures state that Ramirez were more efficient than Puncheon in PL last year, any comment on that?
-
First hawkeye decision or did the ref actually see it himself?
-
Isn´t Kasami way too young to play for Fulham btw?
-
When was the last time we gave the sitting manager a new contract? Might be time to do that, less than 18 months left on his original contract in january.

Playing a team with an interim manager saturday?
