Should be a limit on how many players a club can loan out so teams can´t pack themselfs with players and then ship them out on loan all over Europe. I also agree with earlier posts about loans in the same league shouldn´t be allowed. They can drop down a league or go abroad but then the owning club should still pay a minimum 50% of the wages.

I like that team in home games, but probbly not against West Ham though imo. Need a bit more bite in midfield and just Wanyama on his own there is not enough imo. But against other teams that will sit back it´s interesting, perhaps worth a shot against Crystal Palace, the following home game...?

Costs for football teams can only be decided when a player leaves. When you invest in football players they are financially considered as assetts and to determine the cost you need to sell them first and find out the difference between money out to money in + what you have payed in wages and other player related fees. Other financial aspects in football that is common use is to divide the transfer sum with amount of years on the contract to determine what the player "cost" every year.... Or do you think Ramirez should be considered as a £12m outlay every single year he stays in the club?? If people dismissed him last year as a £12m waste he then should be considered as a free this year I would presume to be fair....

So basically all the ones (wum´s) complaining about Ramirez believed the hype, even though they themself always claim that they are the grounded ones with small expectations on the team and think that everyone who believes the team can be 8th or better are deluded...?

When we play only one way people complain that we lack a plan B, and when we play a bit different complains come about that. (not an attack on OP, just an observation) But as the answer, against Norwich because they were trying to put pressure on us, we tried to put it back to Boruc a lot of times but their pressure continued sp we had to play it long because of what they did. Against West Brom maybe a little in the second half of the same but nothing of it against Sunderland imo.

Ok, cheers Dan. Well to summarize the transfer window then. F*cking awesome, added true true quality to the team and got rid of some of the deadwood. Impossible to get rid of them all with the contracts and wages they have but focusing on the players coming in it is our best window ever. Shaw fully fit but trained the first time last week on thursday (or even friday) after being out for 4-5 days. Clyne missing about 3 weeks of preseason due to injury and Chambers didn´t really do anything wrong in the first two games so he deserved to keep his spot. Better rest Clyne for that game when a break of two weeks coming up rather than to play him too early and get a setback to his injury.

Jeez, time really must fly. Doesn´t seem that long ago since Walcott and Bale played at our club but mayber they are 36-37yrs old now...

No people, we have Osvaldo, Lambert, Rodriguez, Lallana, Ramirez, Davis, JWP, Guly, Isgrove as options for the front four positions as we have heard from our assistant manager that we look at the players playing FROM positions, not in positions..... 4 places in the team, 9 players to choose from, pretty much standard. We can probably also see Rowe and Sinclair in the team for cup games...
