No I agree completely, just thought it was misleading. Of the six player mentioned though my personal rank would be like this. Carrick, Schneiderlin, Wanyama, Cleverley, Anderson, Cork. But then you have to add the other midfielders so if you put Giggs, Jones in the mix + all the right and left sided midfielders Man U is of course far better off than us....

The problem with the thread is the title of it when OP then just compares 3 central midfielders.....

Think Peter Crouch at his very best but also with speed and it´s pretty close to the truth. Better with his feets than you would think just by looking at him (due to his length of course)...

Are you talking about Ramirez (as usual)? If so, in that case I think it´s a great signing. Was he a world-beater last year, no but IMO he had a 6 out of 10 season. Will he be a world-beater this year....remains to be seen. Either way, even if he doesn´t have a great season this year we will have no problem to recoup most (or maybe even more) of the money we paid for him. Therefore a great signing both football-wise and business-wise.

But if the signing turns out to be good then we haven´t overpaid?? You live in a dreamy dreamy world of simplicity....

Looking at all reports I would think it´s 90% certain that he will leave Roma. But, he wants to join Inter or perhaps Napoli while Roma want to sell him to a team in another league. It probably will be a fight between players will and the clubs will in this case, let´s see who wins.... But will happen last days of the window....

Dont think Defoe fits the description we want of a striker now. There is a reason we are looking at Osvaldo and Damiao and that is the combination of size, strength and movement... So what else are out there to fit the description and might be on the market....... Oscar Cardozo, Mirko Vucinic, Lacina Traore, Moussa Sow, Stefan Kiessling, Bafetimbi Gomis, Rodrigo, Morata (yeah yeah I know, I wish...), Marko Aurnatovic, Ibarbo.... Obviously a few of these are probably out of reach even though you can make a bit o a case for anyone of them regarding if they are aveilable or not... I would love to get Cardozo in despite his age, Traore is the fantasy signing of course....

Player by player perhaps but a midfield are only as good as the defense support them and the attack gives them option....

Lot of reports from Italy that Osvaldo will be sold even though they stated otherwise the other week. Talks about first Benzema and now they want to sell Osvaldo to fund signing of Mandzukic.... Inter is interested but Romawould prefer not to sell to another team in Italy and reports think Inter cant afford it. If anyone got money on Man U to win the league again I hope you´re not watching their game tonight. Have a team out with possible 8-9 starters and they look dead average. Disorganised, no flow in their game at all, no press when opponents have the ball. Is probably not a bad thing for those playing them early this year.....
