  1. If somebody predicted in 1998 that an event would happen by 2020, and by 2021 it hadn't happened, but by 2025 it does, does that invalidate the original claim ? Many of the predictions on ExtinctionClock may perhaps have had overly pessimistic 'deadlines', but the predicted outcomes have not been proven to be false, they may well be merely later in arriving than originally presented. For each of those predictions, have you any evidence that totally debunks them ?
  2. Why ? No amount of re-watching your videos, or re-reading your document links, makes them any more credible.

    Referees

I thought I saw KWP, after he was yet again clattered near their penalty area, ask the ref why the Newcastle player hadn't been booked for the foul, yet he had been earlier.

BoJo says that it is a time to reflect on the achievements of the last 10 years, like girls' education. Pity it has stopped now.

    Good.
  9. No, and in the Cretaceous Period the mean sea level was 250 metres above where it is today. Doesn't have any relevance to today's problems though. So what is your point ?
  10. Out of interest, how is the drought going in California ?
  11. I think the lesson from today is to not get over confident in possession and over commit down the flanks against a strong counter attacking team. One lucky pass through or over midfield and we permit ourselves to be left 2 on 2, and forwards like ASM are always likely to out pace central defenders. ( Though Salisu seemed to match him most of the time ).

  13. So how do you describe it ?
  14. Seems like you do as well - so explain why what is happening does not have a human assisted element.
  15. Never seen a home team park the bus like this.

I wouldn't think that any BlackHawk left behind is serviceable, at least for very long. They were being maintained by US contractors, and no way that spares could be found. They need constant attention in the heat and dust, it is not like hot wiring a Humvee.
  21. What would Donny have done, considering he worked out the surrender agreement ?

And the US retreats back to it's mainland, with thousands of miles of ocean either side to provide a buffer.

If you don't watch or read the news perhaps. They have been active in Afghanistan for several years, trying to take territory and fighting the Taliban. Splinter groups in East and sub-Saharan Africa have been similarly active in places such as Kenya and Mali, ( where the French military are heavily involved ). And they haven't been removed from their spawning grounds in Syria snd Iraq.

You don't build democracy in a country by picking a favoured faction and supporting them against all others. There are many historical social, tribal, and religious issues in Afghanistan that need to be worked into any democratic framework, and the US effectively imposing a leadership was never going to create a stable democracy.
  25. Does it come with the crayons, or do you have to buy them separately ?
