Yeah I'm ****ing fuming for one, but I also see op's point. Tbf the knee jerk reactions like fire mopo, and Lambert is a pub player and **** like that are blatant trolling if/when it starts but at the moment I say fire all cannons and vent.

Shame we lost. Congrats to the trolls, the board is yours for the week, till we all do battle again next saturday I bid you adieu.

Lambert was ****, whatever is wrong with him he needs to have a serious word with himself. Dreadful from the rest of em too, wtf was that? Mopo should take a good chunk of blame for his choices today and the message that sent to the fans and players.

No. Nigel was brilliant, the greatest years i've had as a supporter. Crowd were fantastic, we all really felt together as one. What we need to become to push on and are already in the process of becoming very fast has to be a different beast. The reactionary plastics who came flooding back last season, the brutality of the sackings/appointments, the media frenzies, the tactical nous of 'some' of the worlds best managers. Managing large egos in expensive players. Representing the face of the countries most successful British academy of football. Unfortunately I feel Nige would still struggle with these now and more so than other managers available.given time he would learn it and get better but our ambition and speed of success outgrew him last year. Forwards not back.

I think it has a Weakness not it is weak. Of course we can't score everytime we get a chance. However if I'm not mistaken there were quite a lot of threads on here not so long ago bemoaning the fact we don't create enough chances. I am perhaps posting this thread at the wrong time on the back of a win, but I'm really trying to not be antagonistic and just posing the question. If it's just me that believes this is the case then I'll stfu lol.

Sad news RIP Hope he still gets to watch from some plane beyond and see his son become one of the greatest players ever. Condolences to all friends and family.

Bad choice of wording perhaps, I'm delighted at our position, loving the season, and wouldn't change our style for anything else going at the moment. More wondering if there is an inherent weakness in one of the style/formation/tactics (nothing's perfect granted) and why that is the case, as a mental excercise or challenge for more strategically minded people than I. When we have overcome the weakness/flaw what's the difference been?. It seems that the junior teams playing same style (which is great of course) have run into the same problem, hence i reckon its a valid question to be looked at.

I'm not sure if Dodd article posted already, apologies if that's the case. For a long while it's been clear that we have a problem killing teams off whilst dominating them with our playing style. It has seemed since the tail end of last season to have been the general case with flashes here and there of it being overcome. Now this isn't meant to be a veiled post to knock the manager, as i think we are vastly better and am loving everything we are doing as a team. What I'm interested in knowing is whether someone/we can work out what is the cause of this problem as I haven't had any luck so far (no surprise there tbh). My argument that this is a problem with our style as opposed to managerial decisions or individual players is based on the following comments by Dodd on the official site: Sounding familiar right?

He would literally become Sir Rickie Lambert and that would probably be about what he deserves.

3 is my bet. Lallana and 2 others.
-
What will you do when he scores the winning goal at the World Cup...
-
Cork has earned his place, Wanyama to wait his turn I feel. This is the only fair way.
-
Sam Gallagher... the force is strong in this one.
-
As usual he sticks one up his doubters. I make that 8 goals and 9 assists? Now the Ossie cloud is gone, more to come i reckon...
-
I agree he can't do it on his own that's not his game in this kind of setup. Although I think he is far too important to our full game to not play. If we are going to pick holes I still think we need someone more clinical than Jay. A lot of very good balls and easy chances come his way yet he doesn't finish most. Hopefully he will keep getting better and with Sam as a super sub till he or another playmaker can rival Lamberts assists and passing game to inherit the spot.

TBF if I could change my vote would go for this too. Lambert 2nd half but it would have meant nothing if Boruc hadn't got us into half time.
-
SRL coming back from under the cloud of Osvaldo or was he stuck on 99 goals? He could have had a hat trick if he hadn't fallen over and if he wasn't such a team player.
-
Lambert another stunning pinpoint pass! MOTM
-
one each for the england boys !
-
also we haven't won here since 1947... 20 mins to go

maybe the 100 has been weighing on his mind hence dip in form? we will see i guess
