I and I expect the many fans who will see through his game will retract all positive things that have been said about him in the past if he is so willing to tear down what he helped build so quickly. Of course if he turns around and says positive things about the new board, its huge ambitions, and tells the players to stay then I will eat my words after awaking from the shock.

I know the champions league is the holy grail of football but I still don't get why? A player as part of a squad may get what 3 or 4 games on average each year in champ league? And that is the big excitement? But for the chance you won't be a squad player you may get to score a goal In one of these games and actually be remembered. However you have equal chance to always be remembered as a mercenary who flopped. A. Caroll, Torres, Ba, Fellaini to name a few obvious ones and they were nowhere near being considered and remembered as club legends at the time they left. Lallana you are being a donkey if you leave something this good for what is likely to equate to **** all actual playing time or extra personal success. In my rather backward and ultimately ****ed opinion.

True but 31 goals and 12 assists isn't something that Liverpool are very likely to be able to get from someone first season as even players of this calibre don't tend to hit the ground running. Not disagreeing with your sentiment that everyone is replaceable, but I have to agree with poster that said losing Suarez would very probably seriously affect Liverpool next season especially with Champions league games on top of season. Although Chelsea have proven to do really well this season without a solo super striker like Suarez leading them so as long as Liverpool focus on their defence problems they could do okay.

Think he is trying to infer those two are quite **** compared to Luke so why would he want to be working with a couple of liabilities that will make him look bad when he could be working with Lovren and Fonte. Of course I could be wrong it is occasionally heard of

Unfortunately just like us replacing Lallana, the chances of getting someone equally good as a like for like replacement is slim.

This thread seems to have descended into a Liverpool are awesome thread. I don't get it personally. They have had a good season. Last season AVB was being praised as a genius and Brendan Rogers was considered out of his depth. Suarez has a nice big holiday at start of season for first time in a long part of his career and then Liverpool take off. Similarly last years champions start badly and never find any momentum. Things change but the press don't tell the whole story now. Everything in football these days seems to be based on facts around a period of 2/3 months, everything before or beyond is irrelevant BS (save trophies) or daydreaming in the eyes of a lot of fans allowing the media to dictate an immediacy and opinion as they please.

Decent keeper proved himself through divisions, I wanted us to sign him when he was playing for Leeds in league 1. I've heard from a few different people (nothing concrete) this deal is tied up and done but may have to wait till he's officially free in June. My guess would be that there would be a stipulation regarding amount of games he plays in order to make the move. Fingers crossed as this would be a steal.

To be fair to the guy in his prime he was quality, injuries took their toll and probably some poor career decisions along the way.
