Liverpool finished the 2012-2013 season in 7th and went up to 2nd this season. They were certainly not considered legitimate contenders for CL at start of season. Why is it guaranteed that they are going to do quite so well again… football media and fans in general have very short memories. Liverpool are the bestest team ever now, last June we were allegedly competing with them for similar level and priced players in the transfer market. They want all our players to push on.
