  1. was that really necessary?
  2. It would have to be someone bitter and very petty with a track record for acting rashly and over the top when they don't get everything their way. Possibly small of stature.
  3. Timing of it is suspect and it is a contradiction to the direct words of the man himself. I smell bull**** and swear I can hear the sound of small feet scurrying away.
  4. To be fair most of our fans still aren't able to say or spell our last managers name. Not sure this chat constitutes a cross section of the populace Tokyo and I say this because you're spoiling my fantasy that all Brazilians believe they owe Southampton Fc for all their success and rightly so.
  5. Oh yeah thanks now we can close thread. Lol
  6. I see what you did there.
  7. ha ha love the last paragraph of that article... talk about inviting disaster, whooops.
  8. This. Nail on head. He was an idiot for speaking without thinking, although he probably can't come out and defend himself at the moment whilst behind the England protective fence. I would be interested in what he has to say regarding all the speculation when he gets back.
  9. My thoughts exactly. I actually fist pumped when I heard. Terrible for the lad but he shouldn't have been selected and Roy shouldn't have persisted in trying to cram him into first team.
  10. Sorry Angelman probably didn't react well after a bad day and was tempted to post my own picture of handbags after I wrote it. To be fair I just thought you were trying to over intellectualise by using language uncommon in day to day use in order to hide the fact you're actually very insecure about your own intelligence and forming your own opinions. Simply I thought you were being an idiot for the sake of it, so please accept my sincerest contrafibularities on your well articulated study and argument about Favelas.
  11. With Van Gaal and Rooney this is pretty much guaranteed anyway. There is going to be a bust up and it's not a matter of if but when. I suspect Van Persie and any responsibility given to him will be the catalyst. Also: I'm fairly sure Koeman and Van Gaal fell out badly in the past. And Koeman also came out and said Jose Mourinho is the most hated manager in football without saying it himself. Even more reasons why Saints need this manager tied up for us quickly.
  12. TheFalseLibero ‏@TheFalseLibero Maybe I should reword original tweet: Ings IS leaving; either to us or Liverpool. #saintsfc
  13. Unproven ITK but seems to believe what he writes. Appears earlier in this thread with some comments on Lallana if i remember correctly.
  14. Boloks we are. We chose to respect our ageing talisman and sold him for okay money and our manager wanted to move for a mercenary pay day. I guess Pompey fans may well be laughing but as ever they're too thick to realise that giving it large is only going to bite them in the arse once more in a couple of months when we are still prem and playing good football and they are scrapping once more for league survival. Wtfiln became a song for a very good reason and we have no need to stop singing it for years to come.
  15. I'd be gutted and angry for Lambert if they signed Ings too. (That is of course if Suarez was to stay as I think Rickie would see even less game time in a Liverpool shirt)
  16. Don't be a ***** and try and start an argument with me for the sake of it. I can't be wrong about something I never said. Lallana was an idiot and shouldn't have said it, I was inferring in my post that he probably didn't mean it to cause any harm and that was the point he was probably trying to make i.e he hoped that one of them may inspire a kid through meeting them. I certainly never made any comment myself on Favelas, the football relationship of favelas and famous players from them, or tourism impact on visiting there and certainly didn't suggest that only England players or Adam Lallana could inspire the inhabitants of poverty stricken South American districts or anything similar so don't try and educate me like some righteous, faux intellectual, mail reading *****. In short **** off and join in with the over the top whingers on Jeremy Vine. ** Ta. * Also I don't get why England team being taken to visit Favelas is treated as so contentious when celebrities do it all the f'ing time in parts of poverty stricken Africa and India. It once again feels like the press waiting to round on our England boys. Yes there's certainly a question about tourism of these places and the sheer classlessness of rich overpaid people doing it but let's not limit the debate to football in this instance. Edit:
  17. "To be around players like us may be a life-changing experience for them." Umm okay, not very tactful or modest perhaps but he isn't wrong. Those kids 'may' be inspired to become footballers and go for their dreams.
  18. It's an absolute bloody travesty !!! This fan is incredibly angry !
  19. SRL actually. Once you miss one there is always going to be that doubt. (If I had to pick)
  20. It looked to me like he just ran around a bit more than the others, the word frantic sprang to mind. He is the one decision that I really don't get being in the starting 11. He tries to play like a forward but that isn't the role Roy is putting him in. I lost count of the amount of times that Welbeck instead of taking a constructive pass to Lallana or Sturridge instead decided to awkwardly go for it himself or just simply fail to make room for any option other than to pass it back to defenders.
  21. I'm fairly sure she has dealt with this now?
  22. Was thinking this might be an ITK clue
