  1. that was a player though. which is nothing to do with his abilities as a manager RK is great, but no need to make out his stock is higher than Klopp. As it really isnt at the mo
  2. why is it morally wrong?
  3. you could make a case for us winning in MOST fixtures individually. But we wont. Arsenal have done what? won 7 on the bounce. First time they have done that since the 'invincible' era 10 or so years ago
  4. as much as I think RK is the nuts. This is not the case in reality
  5. up there with getting egg'd by someone
  6. there is no real difference. There is no more of a cartel now as there was 23 years before the prem the number of different clubs challenging for the 3 major trophies is pretty much the same
  7. I did a lecture on this some time ago. This event gets absolutely no where near the remembrance from the football community that it deserves
  8. 10 different runners up for the title. 7 different clubs since the prem started 15 different runners up in the FA cup before the prem and 18 since the prem started 18 league cup runners up before the prem and 15 since (also a team from the 3rd tier in Bradford made the final)
  9. not a great deal of difference
  10. When you say cartel. As many different clubs have won the 3 major trophies since the prem started compared to the 26 years before 1992
  11. again, what players in world football have gone for that sort of money in the last year of their contract? £20m MAX i would say for clyne (with maybe a player on loan for the season the other direction)
  12. was shaw in the last year of his contract? (serious question)
  13. I remember being a fire fighter in Op Fresco. put their pay rise request to shame during that time.
  14. I suspect a player at clynes level will not go for £30m in the final year of his contract Has any player gone for that amount in the last 12 months?
  15. they probably haven't, he only has a year left on his contract
  16. if he really wants to go to united, he needs to agree to go there sooner as they will just buy someone else for £30m
  17. I really would like Trippier as his replacement. I think he is a good player with great potential.
  18. it has to be with direction from the local authorities or what ever. In plymouth, large parts of Devonport have been knocked down and rebuilt. Also, due to huge defence cutbacks over the years, large parts of (what was) South Yard are now houses/flats. As well as other old MoD sites (like mount wise etc). Throw in parts around the city. The housing boom around here is huge
  19. he will play again this season. quite obvious really
  20. loads of 2 bed houses being built around here...absolutely loads. More so than 3 beds nearly all of them require 5% deposit too
  21. Yes. Austin is a couple of years older and more experienced. I think Austin is more of an all-rounder compared to Ings (who I think is a good player also)
  22. I think that is why he was dropped on saturday.
  23. of course he is going to play
  24. I think Austin would be a cracking signing. very good player
