Ralph's credibility (if he is deemed to have any left) hinges on whether Schneiderlin stays or not now. Have a feeling the battle-lines have been drawn and we will just have to roll with any unpleasantness Morgan stirs up. If he is really concerned about his chances with the French squad then he's not going to be picked sulking on the sidelines, so he should just knuckle down and get on with things. I sympathise with his position because it must be frustrating to watch the likes of Chambers get his dream move before he does, but the way he has reacted is totally embarrassing for all involved. I'm sure we will allow him to move on next summer should he gives us one more year. Hopefully he comes to accept that without any more twitter episodes.

We just need to hold our nerve. Krueger has made his own noose with the guarantee that he will stay, so selling Morgan now will be career suicide (as a football chairman at least). The situation at the club is toxic at the moment and players need to know that if they kick up a fuss on twitter its not going to affect the outcome. Guessing that he won't be our captain next season now though. Such a shame it has to get so petty, he needs a big fine for his comment. I really feel for Koeman having to sort all this out before a ball is even kicked.

The thing for Morgan is that he must look at players like Shaw and Chambers and think they have only been in the first-team for 12-18 months but both have been granted dream moves. He has been here 6 years but his move to Spurs/Arsenal is being blocked. Still, it is a pretty appalling reaction on twitter.

Interesting that in the Solent interview Krueger wouldn't be drawn on how the players felt about staying put, and effectively said it didn't matter as they are in a professional situation. I only wish we had taken that sort of attitude with Chambers. Perhaps we've relied on Schneiderlin's reasonableness (he's already said he wouldn't force a move) and benefited from J-Rod's injury to keep them at the club. They might not be happy about it but I doubt they are the type of characters to rock the boat either.

Most people will adjust their moods dependant on the news (actual news not just PR) that they hear from the club. Some will be more extreme in their views, some less so, but that is their prerogative. Please stop telling people what they should be feeling, when they are hysterical, when they should calm down, it is incredibly arrogant.

I think he meant that in terms of the players we have already sold...so we have reached a tipping point with 5 having left and J-Rod and Morgan won't be sold. I hope.
