I think Frank is possibly being a little disingenuous with his post-match comments, throwing his players under the bus a little. The long ball strategy surely came from the manager, and in fairness it's not a bad one against us. Bednarek has struggled before and we all remember DCL dominating Salisu last season, but we dealt with it much better today. I think Route 1 isn't fashionable and the Everton fans wouldn't be happy if the boss came out and confirmed it.

Strange one, the VAR angles they were showing made it look like blatant handball. Then pen not given, the TV shows an angle from behind the goal and Romeu clearly is trying to get his arm out of the way. I wonder if VAR looked at that angle but we weren't shown it on TV?
